Paisano’s Pizzeria

Had the godfather and it was good. All sandwiches come with fries which are very good. So it justifies the $ 9 bill. I recommend it.

We went straight to the store to order the pizza, because for some reason the phone wasn’t working and we didn’t want to put our personal information in grubhub, regardless of how well received it may be.
We ordered garlic knots and a philly cheesesteak pizza.
The garlic knots were great! They were better than Pizzeria Bello’s. The pizza was alright, not the best philly cheesesteak pizza I’ve had either here in CT or down in Florida. They were on the right track but they didn’t have green peppers on it and they either had the wrong cheese and/​or the wrong amount of cheese, because this type of pizza should feel like the ingredients were mixing well with each other, rather than tasting them separately. I don’t know how to properly explain it any further, but it just wasn’t exactly what we were looking for in philly cheesesteak pie.
We will try again, but it will be a different specialty of pizza.
Do recommend the garlic knots!

We ordered delivery through grubhub at 854 and the delivery said it was coming between 945 – 950. 1010 rolls around and we call the restaurant and no one picks up. They close at 10 and they just decided not to deliver our food. I’m never ordering from here again.

food is average at best, delivery time is atrocious. we live within a mile from the restaurant and delivery time was almost 2 hours. food was ice cold and lacked desirability, fries and sub were cold and soggy, the salad came with the wrong dressing and extra toppings were not included, garlic bread didn’t come with requested marinara sauce. they should be embarrassed, 1 star is far too kind.

I saw the chef smoking a cigarette in the cooking area. Not cool. Sanitation doesn’t seem to be on the top of the list for these guys. The pizza is good, but they seem to be a bit sloppy when making things and 2 out of the 4 times I have been here for a pizza they forgot something on my pizza. The gluten free pizza took them 50 minutes for them to make me when I waited one night. You should put someone first if they are waiting. Wake up Paisano’s. Try lowering your prices a dollar or two.

The pizza is very greasy but it’s not bad for eating with a couple beers.
HOWEVER — the delivery service is terrible. We were confirm it’d be delivered in 30 – 45 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later they showed up, with no explanation given.
I’d stay away.

Our girls field hockey team traveled to Masuk to play our last away game. The coach wanted to treat the girls to pizza. One of the players needed a gluten free pizza and we found that Paisano’s served it.
We ordered seven pies total. I went to pick it up, they were very nice and accommodating. Our pizza was ready very quickly. I drove the pies back to the high school so the girls could eat on the bus. Everyone loved the pizza, the crust and sauce were perfect.
I am disappointed that my daughter is a senior because I probably won’t be back to Monroe to have Paisano’s again.
I highly recommend their cheese pizza

I placed an order for delivery online. Their Cuban sounded great, but I was unfortunately greeted with a phone call to tell me they weren’t making Cubans at that time. Putting that aside, I ordered a Spicy Italian and when I received it was a bit dismayed to see a sandwich half falling apart. I don’t know if that was the result of delivery, but honestly it didn’t seem that way. The grinder almost seemed hand pulled in half, rather than cut in half. It was a mess with ketchup packets half in the sandwich and half out. Maybe I’m being anal, but I would prefer it if the ketchup packet you pulled out of a box weren’t in my sandwich.

I ordered the family meal for $ 22.99 + tax. It came with chicken Parmesan and penne, bread, a large salad and 2 liter soda for 4 – 6 people. The delivery was slow. Came about 20 minutes late, it was supposed to be 45 minutes. The soda, salad, & bread were fine but the main dish? Waaaaaay to much salt! I just don’t understand why restaurants do this? You can always add salt but you can’t take it away! Stop with the salt! Thank you!

I’m in love. I have started going to Paisano’s after getting frustrated with the diminishing quality and selection of pizza in the Trumbull and Bridgeport. I’ve tried the veggie pizza the last 5 times I’ve gone there and it has been terrific.
It’s a winner and not too far out of the way of my usual routes I take for errands.
Keep up the good work.

Ordered pizza and wings for delivery… food delivered much quicker than quoted… under 45 minutes… pizza was hot out of the oven and wings were meaty and very good. Very pleased overall and will place another order soon.

We’ve ordered from Paisano’s several times for delivery. The pizza is always hot and delicious and comes within the time the estimate when we order. The portobello salad is amazing!!!

Best New York-​style pizza! Fast and friendly service. Their meatball pizza can’t be beat.

Very good pizza. My problem is the SLOW DELIVERY! I’d rate 4 or 5 stars if normal delivery times. But over 1.5 hrs on a reg basis is unacceptable.

The food was good and the service was good too. I honestly wouldn’t go out of my way to get there, but if you are in the area, it’s a good choice as long as you have modest expectations.
