This place is great! Awesome selection of produce at a great price and the sushi is EXCELLENT. Great seafood selection at great prices as well. I was very impressed.

Great selection of produce and good selection of specialty/organic products. I love picking up fresh sushi in the summer when it’s too hot to cook! I work in the city a lot and have had sushi many places and theirs rivals the city places. The chef once specially made me a tuna/apple appetizer that I have ordered again and again! So good

In a pinch this store was good for a freshly prepared sushi event. The quality of the fish was outstanding. Probably the best salmon in the area aside from Sally’s in Newburgh. Their fresh vegetables were not impressive at all. The man at the seafood counter was very friendly and helpful, however the owners are very short with the customers and often causes me to go out of my way to spend money elsewhere.

Overpriced, very minimal selections of fresh fish and not really friendly or helpful, except for their Mexican employees who seem to do most of the work in there. I’ve come to this fish market a couple times as a last resort and it never fails. The staff is ALWAYS quick to just point you in a direction when you’re looking for something, even though the place stays empty. Once I came in looking for Grouper and asked the guy behind the fish counter if they sold any. His response? «What’s that?» How rude. I’ve learned quickly that the local supermarket has just about everything this place does.

If you want to go to an Asian grocery store(it’s very limited) around the Monroe area, I guess this is it. It’s OK. Their selection could be bigger and their prices are ridiculous. Better off taking a trip to H-mart or Daido in white plains or Mitsuwa in Fort Lee. They do have fresh fruits and veges. Sushi is OK.

I’ve been here several times to purchase groceries and prepared food. The fish is delivered daily and you can tell the difference. Store is clean while the produce is fresh. Staff is always pleasant with a smile. A definite recommendation for an alternative to the overprocessed chain markets.

If you’re feeling Asian, come into Monroe Farm for a bottle of ramune and a platter of fake crab egg pancakes. The food here is only so-so but it is the only grocer in the area with organic food and a fresh seafood section. We used to come here for live Maryland blue crabs but they’re only available every so often. Thus, if you don’t mind over paying a little head to Monroe Farms!
