i just went back for adjustments after 4 years. My lower pain seems to keep in check when I see Dr Sudore on a regular basis!!!

I’ve been going to see Dr. Sudore for several months now after I injuring my upper back and shoulder area doing a variety of exercise (hiking, yoga, running etc…). She was really good at spending time to understand my issues, making adjustments and providing stretch exercises to do in my own. With other chiropractors, I always felt they just wanted me to keep coming back and I never got a sense of improvement. This was not the case with Dr. Sudore, things go better and I had to see her less and less. In addition, there is definitely a positive energy that comes from visiting her office, not something you can see with other chiropractors either. Even when I needed some clarifications on my billing statement, the person I talked to was very helpful. Kudos to Dr. Sudore.

Dr. Sudore was referred to me by friends that I attend yoga class with. I injured my back/​neck during a couple of tumbles skiing this year. After several weeks of pain, I began seeing Dr. Sudore. We discussed my symptoms and set up a treatment plan (twice weekly for 3 weeks, then weekly). I am now seeing her every other week and supplementing with massage. Her work has helped me recover and do my normal sports with no pain. Highly recommend chiropractic with Dr. Sudore to treat neck & back injury.

This is a warning to anyone needing chiropractic or health services in Monroe, DO NOT GO HERE! I was in a car accident over a year ago, woke up one morning unable to move my head. I have health insurance and went in and told Dr. Sudore my situation. As soon as she heard I had a lawsuit (only started to get my insurance to pay for the rest of my PIP) dollar signs rolled through her eyes. She then said insurance wouldn’t pay for it even if she tried and that I should set up a plan that she would get paid when I settled.
After going to her for over a month, my last visit I waited while 5 people went before me (about an hour and 15 min), I was feeling better I told her I didn’t have any pain that week, she said «Well we can’t say that (in my paperwork).» I then didn’t come back, she was then not caring about my health but milking me for money. After not coming back she got irate and harassed my lawyers. She then submitted my bills to my insurance company and got them mostly payed for (I still needed to pay the copay). I have now found out she has returned the insurance’s payment back and called me up and left a viral message saying I needed to pay the whole thing, $ 1,790 in full or she’s sending me to collections.
*Also her corrections are fast and brutal.
As of Decemeber 2012:
After help from my lawyers she dropped what I owed to a little under $ 600, I was able to pay with care credit and get this place off my mind. I then got a new letter pretty recently that said the same balance was still owed. Good thing I paid in full and still had the receipt. I’ll be holding onto all my paperwork for a while now.

I wouldnt even give this business 1 STAR. The filtered reviews were provided by a current employee and a former employee. Dr. Shepard and Dr. Tibbitts are no longer there. Many people have left this office because of their unethical billing, unethical practices all in part to Dr. Sudore, the owner of this business. She does nothing to create a peaceful environment. She brings office politics to her day to day «treatment» therefore creating a VERY hostile environment. She never follows through on her word and is not consistent in the overall business structure. Go here and expect over billing. I’m currently, as are many, reporting her business ethics or rather lack thereof, to the BBB and the insurance commissioner. Look up Tibbitts and Shepard online-​AWESOME chiropractors. This place is complete garbage! STAY AWAY!!!

Dr. Shepard gets 5 stars! She’s a thoughtful practioner who doesn’t over– or under-​treat. Plus, she’s fun to talk to and has a great sense of humor. The location is convenient; right off a main drag in town. The converted house could probably use a little updating but the friendly front staff make up for any of that.
