I had previously given Marina’s FIVE stars, which I don’t give out often. Unfortunately, we’ve been back about 3 times and every single time since the crusts have been soggy, which really stinks, since that was one reason I loved them originally– their crust had been a bit thicker & remained dry. Also, the garlic bread was bland. While we loved their garlic knots the first time, the last several times they’ve been dry & burnt. We even recently ordered and specifically requested that the knots not be burnt. The woman on the phone said okay– and yet the ones received were burnt & cold. Not exactly what you want to spend your money on.

If you haven’t tried Marina’s yet, you are missing out on really great food! Everything is delicious and the cheesecake is a slice of heaven! This is as authentic as is gets!

Tasty calzones, though I was expecting more fillings. It was cooked perfectly regardless. Everything inside the place is brand new and seems like a nice enough family is running it, so I’ll be back.

Went to Marina’s tonight with my husband and kids because I didn’t feel like cooking and was craving a calzone. I love that there is so much more than just pizza ! My 7 year old got cavetelli with broccoli rabe, it was awesome! Flavorful And fresh !! Then the little ones had Mac n cheese bites and tortellini soup… Which was better than homemade :) my husband had a chicken parm grinder that I ended up stealing half of. and the chicken was so tender and flavorful… Sauce is perfect! I really love this place … We ordered so much food that I had to take the calzone to go! Can’t wait to try it later :)) highly recommend this place … We have gone before and just had pizza which was also really good. The mashed potato pizza is a must! My kids love it too… We are definitely going to make this our new spot for italian !! The staff was super friendly too!

Marina’s recently(2014) replaced Tina’s Pizza near the intersection of 34 and 111 in Monroe. They have upgraded the location with a brighter interior, nicer seating, and a television on the wall to entertain guests. We visited Marina’s on a Monday about 8PM, and ordered salads, a meatball pizza, and garlic knots. The salads were generous and the greens quite fresh. The garlic knots were a great deal — 3 for $ 1 — although a style I had not seen before(larger than average), also delicious. The pizza is a soft crust style — no crunch, and a bit floppy — but not thin. The sauce is sweet and flavorful. And there was PLENTY of cheese(much to my delight). It was not as filling as Tina’s was, but we left satisfied. The staff is less friendly than Tina’s but they were very attentive and accommodating. I don’t think you’ll have any regrets eating here, picking up, or having delivery. Overall, highly recommended.

This is good soft crust pizza. Good flavor in the sauce. I personally like a more crunchy crust, but overall quite good. The atmosphere is very«family» with family members making the pizza, serving and answering the phone.
