This is the best mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in Wa. The flavors are all bright, the food is always moist and fresh! The manager and waitstaff are super fun and quick like bunnies. Their Tortilla soup is quickly becoming my Sunday morning hangover staple. Please come and eat here, you won’t be disappointed.

Easily the best mexican I’ve had since moving up to the Seattle area. I love Las Tres Marias and it has become my favorite restaurant in pretty much the whole Seattle. Everything they do is totally on point and we’ve never had a bad meal here. But especially, the fajitas which come out exactly like I want them to. The beef fajitas are especially good with a slight hint of a pineapple marinade. Their cheese dip is the best and it reminds me of mexican restaurants at home in Oklahoma. The owners are courteous and engaged and truly lovely to be around. It also has a great happy hour with their cheap liters of draught Negro Modela and even when it’s not happy hour that liter is only going to cost $ 6! My only complaint is that I’m not super keen on their salsa. It’s fine but I’ve had better and really it’s such a small thing I can’t ping them a star for it.

There is lots of variety of Mexican restaurants and food trucks in Monroe. This restaurant in particular takes the cake. We were greeted with very friendly staff, very tentative. I had huevos rancheros, better words egg dish with beans and rice and corn tortillas. I very happy impressed to see everything done to perfection including the egg itself, great flavor profile and great portions. I was so pleased I requested the owner to stop by my table to tell him what I thought. Anyone who wants a real authentic sit down Mexican experience, come to Las Tres Marias on Main Street in downtown Monroe. Trust me you won’t regret it.

On a weekend road trip, we ended up in Monroe for a very early lunch and decided to give Las Tres Marias a shot. I’m afraid I can’t agree with all the four– and five-star reviews, though, and I probably wouldn’t come back for the mediocre, cheese-heavy food. We must have been the first customers of the day, because we came in right after 11 and none of the other tables were full. The employees were all very friendly, greeting us cheerfully and waving us to whichever booth we wanted, but after a while it felt like they were overdoing it when they addressed us as «amigo» and«amiga» in every single sentence. I’d rather have efficient no-nonsense service than over-the-top friendliness, but hey, your preferences may be different. Also did not enjoy the«oops I’m fake-spilling a coffee on you» prank that our server played… 11 am is TOOEARLYFORWACKYHIJINKS, amigo. The menu has all the standards, and they bring you a basket of chips with salsa, pico de gallo, and bean dip right away. There’s a lunch menu where pretty much everything is under $ 10, which we ordered from. I had the avocado tostadas with chile verde and my dining companion had the carne asada. The pork was tender and flavorful, but the tostada was weighed down by soggy shredded lettuce and the tortilla underneath was completely soaked by the time I got to it. There wasn’t much avocado and I saw at least one spoiled spot on the avocado chunks. The cheesy refried beans and rice were nothing special and I didn’t eat much of mine. For some reason, the owner was aggressively and repeatedly trying to upsell us on margaritas and tequila. Like whoa, it’s not even close to noon. The restaurant is festively decorated with colorful walls, Southwestern/Mexican art, and desert-themed upholstery in the booths. There are a few TVs, but they were muted and fairly easy to ignore if you don’t want to watch whatever’s on. The bathrooms were kind of dirty. We’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality of Mexican restaurants in random small-town Washington, but this wasn’t one I would bother going back to, amigo.

Tres Maria’s continues to use to be our go-to place in Monroe for Mexican. The margaritas are as good as I had hoped and the flan is to die for-even when stuffed with the excellent enchiladas I always have room for the flan — SOOOOOGOOD!

We ordered takeout a few weekends back and we were so happy with everything! I was extremely pleased with how much food we got for the money, and their chips and salsa were awesome. Everyone was happy with everything we ordered, and I am excited to go back! I only wish they had a paper takeout/to-go menu. The pictures I took are blurry. Can’t wait to order again soon!

We read the reviews on a local Facebook site for Monroe and Unilocal too. So we came to try it out. The staff is very friendly, and polite. We were treated like we were old friends. I had Chimachungas, husband had Tacos Asada. My husband liked the Pico Gallo and Salsa they serve, and even ordered some to take home. We felt it was very authentic to the true Mexican food we have had in Mexico.

A smallish space but nicely appointed. Sauces are delicious, fresh and made in house I believe. Tamales are on the menu and are very good, don’t see that too often. Chile verde very flavorful, and the pork has been marinated. Carne Asada fat free and medium well, very tasty. Go for the ranchero beans… rather than refrained. Great salsa and pico de gallo. A double margarita washes it all down nicely, although may weaken your dessert will power.

This jewel was shared with me from my niece and her awesome husband. the place was packed and my daughter and I snagged the last table. The people kept coming into this charming local mom and pop place. They never got rattled and kept up the great smiling service. The food was amazing. If you get good food and service is bad your whole experience is ruined. They cherish their customers and feed them well. Loved the sangria as well. We will be back soon.

The moment you open the door you are made to feel welcome. The food is outstanding, the service is fantastic. The entire waitstaff makes you feel Ike a friend, they will help you order based on questions they ask you about your tastes. They all seem to have a great sense of humor. It is always my go to place in Monroe. I usually order Arroz Con Pollo where ever I go and theirs is the best. I have branched out now and have tried several different dishes here and have enjoyed them all. Be adventurous and let the staff help you pick something different to enjoy. You won’t be sorry.

We had a birthday party here last night, and it was great. We toted our two young daughters along, which we were nervous about, but the food came quickly and service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant for family parties. Their food has never disappointed, and their margaritas are great!

Las Tres Marias is right in the middle of old Monroe, WA. There is plenty of parking on the street outside, and lots of charm in the neighbourhood and inside the restaurant. One thing that really impressed me was the genuine concern the staff all had to get everything right and make sure that we were completely happy with the food served. I had a Chipotle Burrito, and was very impressed.

Parking is easy. Main Street Monroe. The interior design is nice. There are a couple tv’s to entice your Seahawks friends to eat out on game day. Chips and salsa are provided and taste great. They usually bring us two salsas because they know we will finish it to quick. I always get fajitas. Grilled chicken and veggies. Really great with large portions enough for take home leftovers!!! Price is $$-$$$ but what restaurant isn’t these days. Also we order some more expensive items like shrimp. :) great spot in monroe.

I am always recommending this restaurant to my friends. It’s been so difficult finding a good Mexican restaurant in the northwest and it was almost emotional discovering this place. The food here is so good and exactly what I was looking for. The queso dip is fantastic and there are plenty of different meals to try that are all equally amazing. The staff is so friendly and attentive. This place is the only reason to go to Monroe and living in Redmond, this place makes it worth the drive.

Seriously, I don’t know what all the hype is about this place. Mediocre food and drinks, the bean dip tasted like they used leftover turkey fat in it and it was the weirdest color of beige! Chips were less than fresh and not even warm. No one knew what a scratch margarita was and there were NO prices for them. We ended up with a huge margarita that had a grapefruit wedge in it, it tasted, well, like a grapefruit! And it was $ 10.95 for a single shot drink! Arroz con pollo was $ 15.95! It was way too tomatoish there were 4 mushrooms, 2 tiny slices of avocado and loads of rice, good amount of peppers, onions and chicken, there was a lot of food, we split and still took some home. I had expected this to be an inexpensive Mexican café in Monroe. Service was good

This place is GREAT! A number of items sounded good to me on the menu. I really had a hard time deciding. I can’t remember exactly what it was called that I settled on — But it was a dish that came with an enchilada(with green sauce, two flautas, rice, beans, sour cream, & guacamole. The enchilada & flautas come with your choice of meat(chicken, beef, or chorizo)…so, I chose a different kind of meat for each item. I think my dish was less than $ 13. They have a nice kids menu with more than 3 options. :) Taco, Quesadilla, Enchilada, Burrito, Taquitos, Nachos, Grilled Cheese, Chicken Nuggets. This restaurant has a full bar, but no drink menu… I did not order a drink(because I dislike ordering something without knowing how much it is going to cost). — and yes, I could ask… but, if I have to ask — I’ll just stick with water. My hubby on the other hand ordered 2 different margaritas… and he thought they were both«weak»…but, they were large, and less than $ 8 a piece. I would definitely try this place again. My husband ordered a Chalupa(he ventured off his beaten path)…and he said, «Eating that Chalupa was so much FUN!!» You should try this place! :)

Seriously I am so glad to find a great Mexican place not too far from home. The people here are so nice, they thank you for coming in and obviously take pride in their restaurant. It’s cute, clean and tastefully decorated. The pico that comes with the chips will I’m sure become an addiction for me, I love the picked Jalapeño chunks in it. The man and I both got a combo, mine was a pork enchilada and tamale and his a chicken chalupa and burrito. Everything was delicious, especially the burrito! It was juicy, and stuffed with chicken, so good! The tamale was pretty legit, maybe a tad dry but very tasty! We def will be back, I suggest you stop in for a visit if you’re in the neighborhood!
