I’m still giving 4 stars for their amazing selection and reasonable prices, but I must say the workers they have here suck. I don’t know why they work there, because they are of no help at all and are quite frankly rude. I went in there 20 minutes before closing time, and the lady was mopping the floor. She said she couldn’t wait to leave and was going to lock up after I left. She finished mopping her section while I stood at the register for 5 minutes. Later, I asked another worker about a certain beer I couldn’t find, and she annoyingly said she didn’t know and didn’t even attempt to help. My friend, who goes there often and has noted the same thing, was just there earlier and got it, but I go there later and get treated like crap.

The guy who runs the place is good, but the other workers there suck to the point where it’s barely worth going there, unless you want to be treated rudely and cause them to be inconvenienced if you need anything.

Jake’s has the best craft beer selection in Monroe County. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a great selection of liquor, wine and sodas. Definitely worth the trip if you’re really into craft beer.

Jake’s is the place in Monroe County for craft beer. The best part about Jake’s is their variety. There is always something new. This helps them move their products so you won’t see anything dated on their shelves. The store is clean and also well organized, unlike other beer stores I have been to. They have an awesome, knowledgeable and friendly staff. If you don’t see what you want, just ask! They will try their hardest to get it in. I drive out of my way to come here!

Probably the best craft beer store in Monroe. Huge selection of beer, wine and liquor !!! Staff and owner are great to talk to and very knowledgeable about what they sell !
