My son has been there for 2 years. Great teachers and facility. We love the daily emails and photos sent to us of our son playing, learning and having fun!

Very responsible and caring facility — I wish I knew about Honey Tree when my first child was in need of day care! Danielle, the owner, is hands-on and oversees the school — I see her almost every day.

Our family has been with Honey Tree for 7 years now. My 3rd grader started there when he was 2 and my 3 year old started there when he was 5 months. The thing that attracted me most at first was the amount of time the teachers have been with the center. The toddler 2 teacher has been there around 20 years and the infant teacher, 13. All of the staff is outgoing and open minded and they take the time to listen to you and your child about their individual needs. I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Honey Tree during my lunch break to nurse my son and they made me feel welcome and comfortable. I love the open floor plan, as it made the«moving up» transition from one room to another very easy and painless for me and my child. As my experience from working in child care centers in the past, that has not always proven to be a seamless process. The most important thing, my kids are happy to go and don’t want to leave :)

Parents beware. They use ipads with the babies. I informed the director that I saw this happening and according to the American Academy of Pediatrics kids under two should not have any screen time at all. She told me that according to her research it’s safe and beneficial. The child I saw using the iPad was about 8 months old. I can’t believe she expected me to believe the classroom teacher only uses it for five minutes at a time bc when I witnessed the teacher handing it to the baby she put on telletubbies for him. Also don’t forget to label your bottles if you forget to label one bottle one day, the teacher takes it upon herself to write the child’s name in sharpie marker on the bottle. And finally, a daycare is supposed to help your baby get on a good nap schedule and they did not even try. Instead the teacher told me that my child was tough. Yes she has trouble falling asleep but their setting is not good for the babies. It’s essentially one open class room with half walls dividing the rooms, so it’s too loud, but apparently that makes my kid«tough.»
