Flowers By Karen

Not impressed; just need 3 wrist corsages and 3 boutonnières for next week, but she’s too busy. What kind of business turns away customers? I can see if I was ordering a boatload of stuff, but 6 little items and she can’t accommodate. Pity — was loving all the good reviews she’s gotten.
Must be me, then, but my perception is my reality, right?

We photographed a wedding last weekend at Columbia Winery. My only experience with her is seeing her work, so I can’t attest to her as a person but I can say she did a wonderful job with the wedding flowers! As a photographer, I get super bummed when I see the flowers for the first time and they already look half dead! I was so happy to walk into the getting ready area and see a beautiful fresh bouquet, begging to get photographed while the bride finished getting her make up done. The bride was very happy with the flowers too.

My husband and I used flowers by Karen for our wedding last August. I had a small budget but still wanted a nice looking bouquet. After meeting with Karen she understood I was on a tight budget which was a lot different from other florists. She was extremely helpful and all the flowers turned out beautiful! Thank you Karen!

Wow, I could not be more impressed by the flowers that my husband had delivered to me at work by Flowers by Karen. It’s a gorgeous arrangement with Birds of Paradise, freesia and orchids that not only looks great but smells divine. Whomever delivered them made sure to tell me to keep them topped off with water and was super pleasant. What a lovely and gorgeous work of art that is non traditional but still beautiful and tasteful. Thank you!

I live in Southern California and my mother moved to Monroe a couple years ago. For her first mother’s day away from us I, like Keshia A., did a Google search for a local florist. I checked out their website, chose a design and gave them a call. I don’t recall the girl’s name but she was very helpful and service over all was great. My mother loved her flowers! Flowers By Karen is now my go to florist in WA.

Karen was the florist for my wedding, and I honestly could not have expected a better experience. I came across Karen’s work at the Everett Bridal show, which I attended with my sister who is a floral designer herself. When I saw Karen’s flowers, I fell in love but I waited to hear my sister’s expert opinion. Her response? «This is the one!» Karen’s work was gorgeous, original – a feast for the eyes and nose.
My wedding had a tree theme and took place in a rustic log hall, so I was looking for something a little different. Karen and her staff created gorgeous trees for each table, each different and lovely. She listened carefully and excitedly as I had talked to her about my vision for the bouquets – wild, natural, colorful – and her eventual creations almost made me cry, they were so lovely and so perfect.
I cannot recommend her strongly enough. I’ve seen her traditional work… it’s wonderful, but her originality and vision is what makes her work really stand out!
