Blu Water is now in a new location– 110 S Monroe St.
Google hasn’t updated the info yet, so just an FYI. It’s right next to the River Raisin Center for the Arts, and you can park in the parking lot next door.
The new space is super cute and very chic looking. They now have a small refreshment area with a Keurig while you wait.

I used to love this place at their old location. My favorite stylist was Shanna and she was a master cutter. The desk was respectful, helpful, etc. I did go to the new location two times and both were failures. I no longer trust the word ‘master stylist’. The person did not listen to me or my kids. She even said to my teen, «I know this isn’t what you wanted but, I think if you give it a chance you will like it.» I was offended she cut the hair how she wanted. She also was not knowledgeable on trendy and new styles. I’ve given the place 4 chances and all were bad.

Hair cuts start at $ 30 for junior stylistic amd go up depending on experience. Includes shampoo, cut, blow dry. Had missy was $ 40, had a drastic haircut and very satisfied. Will go back for sure.

I have been going to Blu Water Spa for help with weight loss. The people here are professional and take great care of you. You still need to consult with your own physician before taking some of their services, but I have found the entire staff to be caring and helpful.
Since I have taken some of the services here, along with following a new diet, I have lost over 35 lbs. They also have programs to help you detox your body, as well as relax though services such as deep tissue massage, and manual medicine. They also have a full beauty salon for the ladies, complete with beauty products. I recommend checking them out if you are into a healthy lifestyle.

Great spa. I go here for massages, as well as pedicures, and have gotten my hair done in the past as well. Go to Heidi or Steve for massages, they are both awesome. Pedis are really relaxing and luxurious, and the employees are all very friendly and talkative. Prices are high, IMO, for hair services, so I stopped going to the salon for that.
