In beautiful condition thanks to the efforts of the Friends of the Ritner Creek Bridge who paid for the restoration and ongoing maintenance of this lovely landmark. One of only 50 covered bridges left in the state of Oregon. A nice rest stop when you are driving through the countryside on Kings Valley Highway. I can see why the community still uses it for weddings, picnics and get togethers. The bridge is just off to side of the highway and has picnic tables inside. Not many other amenities, just a porta-potty in the parking area, although there is a trail along the creek. The bridge was built in 1926 and later moved to this location where it was restored after the community rallied support to preserve the structure. It is on the National Historic Register.
