Great food. Friendly staff. Best clam chowder around! We go almost every Friday with entire family and are never disappointed.

Went there once late
To get food with the hub. It was loud with people singing karaōke. We got our food. Was not impressed. My burger was dry. After waiting for refer for service to ask about it. I went out in search of Someone. I was told that they had a bar type thing to add your own toppings. Weird. So. By then food is cold. To top off the evening. Went to pay and low and behold. The gd waitress had just kept her own tip. I did the math and we did not get our correct change. My hub paid and I wanted to fight it but he said nah. So. I didn’t. Never ever going there again. Be aware of your change. Good luck. I do not recommend it.

The waitress was fantastic and and food was great! We swung into town looking for a place that wasn’t pizza, but little kid friendly and this was both! The «Black and Blu» sandwich is great! Plus the salad bar was loaded with excellent choices!

Good food if you go during the day and the drinks get the job done. The service is horrible though, I’ve been here 4 years and it never improves. It’s mostly a student hangout at night because if you live on or near campus it’s the only choice. There is pool but no room to dance.

I went in there, the watriss did not welcome me or addressed us when we sat down. It took 10 minutes to get a menu and after 15 minutes still no water or order taken. So we left. Tator tots are really good

Terrible place. Small bar, bartenders have no clue what they’re doing. Just a low class joint. No where to dance, hardly any events. I definitely don’t recommend this place at all.

Not horrible, but not great either. The drinks are generally pretty good and the food is what you’d expect of pub food. What gets me is the service — it’s extremely spotty. My husband and I have had one really amazing waitress and the rest have been far more interested in getting their tips at the bar than paying attention to their customers on the floor. One night we spent two and a half hours in the pub and only the last half hour of that was us getting our food and eating it. Which, I might add, was cold. And we waited almost 20 minutes for water and sodas alone. To this day, I’m not entirely sure why we stayed for our food. We should have just left.
My suggestion to anyone coming here is come in on a busy night. It seems to be the only way you’ll really get good service.

Pulled into town, unpacked the parents, walked to bar number one (which was closed) then over to Main Street Pub.
Lots of the college set, hanging around talking and shooting pool. Cool enough.
A few friendly exchanges, not enough to feel we were ‘visitors’ per se.
$ 6.50 pitchers that night??? WHA??? We went to town on the Downtown Brown, lemme tell ya.
… enough to truly enjoy chatting it up with a middle-​aged man in a tu-​tu. :)

Great bartender, tiny gal who kept things going. Loved her friendliness and ‘can do it’ attitude.
The jukebox was cool — we victimized the locals with our Beatles/​Grateful Dead/​Allman Bros/​Cocteau Twins/​Sparks selections and were promptly rewarded by the crappiest pop-​rap offerings imaginable by those nice white kids. Whodathunkit?
Almost a star lost for poor taste, but it’s not the pub’s fault.
Love the outdoor seating (it was chilly, but perfect for a quick smoke) and love that the whole town is walkable and seemingly safe after closing.
I could hang.

My wife and I have lunch here almost every Thursday and think its pretty good. They have specials that are always rotating. Yes, its your typical bar/​fried foods, but they are usually pretty good. The burgers are great. The fries are pretty good, and the tots are fantastic! The beers on tap vary almost weekly. The service it what you should expect from a bar (sorta slow at best), but we don’t go there in any sort of a hurry so it works out.

It’s the only place in town and the service is awful! If you want a something and don’t want to wait 20 minutes waiting for someone to see you then you should go somewhere else! I won’t be a returning customer.

Your typical pub/​eatery. We were helped right away with cheery service. I had the Reuben with onion rings. Food came quickly. The Reuben came on white bread… what? Should have had rye bread. It tasted ok but was expecting rye.
Onion rings were good. :)
