CROOKS!!! I purchased a gift certificate during Christmas from Wet Connection for a loved one to go «jet packing.» Of course, the owners were MORETHENATTENTIVE — when I wanted to GIVE them money. Returned messages immediately, etc, etc. However, when it came time to make an appt to cash in said G.C. — MIA!!! They would not return calls, voicemails, emails and yes, even facebook messages — we tried everything!!! These people are crooks and they know it. I plan on filing with the better business bureau.

I want to start by saying that my family has been boating for over 40 years. We meet at sml every year for a family vacation. Unfortunately this year my boat broke down the second day we were here. After calling around looking for a rental they claimed to have an inboard centurion available. When my father and went to see it it was completely torn apart being repaired and they claimed it would be ready for us the following morning. We then made a comment about ours being broken. They offered to fix which seemed like a great alternative. After letting them have it for a day and a hefty bill later we picked it up. Within 5 minutes of having it back in the water it developed the same problem. When we called and brought the boat back we were confronted with the same unprofessional man a woman who immediately got defensive. Needless to say we have a big bill and no boat still and they are unwilling to do anything. I would be very careful about using them based on the condition of their equipment and how unprofessional their staff is. I am amazed they can stay in business

BEWARE!!! I don’t usually post reviews on anybody but what these owners have done to us is not good business and should be shared. Having been boating for 30+ years, on SML for 10 year & the founder of SML boating club, we know our boats. We have rented from this company for the last 4 years… every 4th of July and well in advance so we can attend a friend’s island party via water. So this year, the owners decide to CANCEL our 4th of July, 3-day rental, 1 day before pick up. They claim it was because my wife attacked them on the phone when she called to confirm pickup and asked if the red tritoon that was parked at their dock was the tritoon we were going to rent for $ 600+? But was that the real reason? Keep reading… Having a 100% right to know the equipment we plan to put our family and children on… we were concerned because the red tritoon we saw when stopping by one day,(office wide open but nobody around) was in very poor condition and in our opinion was not overly reliable, safe or rent worthy. Never giving my wife a straight answer on the phone, the owners get defensive and claim attack… but come to find out they double booked the tritoon by accident. So why they truely cancelled will never be known… but the owners claim they have a mile long waiting list… so cancelling us sure did help their situation. So we are now left 1 day before the holiday weekend with a house full of family and guests expecting to attend a friends annual party by water with no boat. THANKSWETCONNECTION! Never again for us. Since moving from Crazy Horse this place is in awful shape. I would suggest you simply drive by and take a look at their place and their equipment before renting. If youre happy with what you see. Great… but for us, there is no way I’m jeopardizing my family time, safety or well being on the lake. No way!
