I saw the Deer Creek Winery outlet as I was getting a pretzel at the mall. The store looked promising. They have wine racks, wine tasting, and baskets for the wine connoisseur. My boyfriend and I tasted five wines. They do not charge for this. The woman who was working seemed to know the basics of the wine we were tasting… and by basics I mean I am pretty sure she was reading a description of the wines off a bottle in front of her. Anyways we purchased two bottles one of which was 15 dollars. When we got the bottle home, the wine had bubbles in it. We did not purchase a sparkling wine, but instead a bad bottle of wine that was not sealed good enough and tasted like bacon and vinegar. Fifteen dollars wasted. I am pretty sure I will not be returning to Deer Creek. If so, only to return my bad bottle of wine and to get some money back to buy a bottle of Yellow Tail.
