Rude, and bad. The barista or juicer doesn’t know how to make a cappuccino. She made a latte and just told me thats how they make cappuccino here in Kaui. I ended up having to pay for something i didn’t order. Sugar cane juice was okay. Overall overly priced with a bad attitude.

Date with Fate! I have tried to find a smoothie comparable to this one in California. It hasn’t happened in the 6 years I have been searching. Sip and sit… heaven on earth.

So I came here just for the sugar cane juice and it was good but the service is not good at all. I got there at 4:03 and the lady said she can’t make another drink I ordered because they were closing even though they advertise closing at 5. So that was pretty annoying. When I ordered the sugar cane juice I just made sure it came with ginger and lime juice as advertised and the lady said, «welllll, we don’t have that much left so I’m not sure». I think I must have gave her a funny blank stare because a few seconds later she said I’ll put a little bit in. Kind of annoying, right? It’s like she was doing me a favor to make the drink that I’m paying for and doing me a favor to make it correctly. So service is poor and the one drink I got was pretty good.

Perfect stop along the side of the road. Highly recommend the fish tacos, fresh juice and great baked goods. The rice and beans accompaniment with the tacos is outstanding. They also have a stand of freshly picked local fruits and make an array of smoothies. Full breakfast and lunch menus available. Seating is outside on picnic tables or under an awning at a high stool bar. Best part is the gorgeous view while you eat

I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and the BF ordered a bagel sandwich with avocado and a fried egg. My burrito was quite bland, the tastiest ingredient in it was the black beans and that’s pretty sad. It came with a small tub of their green salsa but even that was a little bland and not spicy at all. My BF was super disappointed in his bagel sandwich – the avocado did not taste fresh and he had to drench the sandwich in Frank’s hot sauce to make it edible. His reaction when he got the sandwich: «Wait, this is it?» The sandwich had no spread at all. It was literally a bagel, slices of avocado, and an egg thrown together. Honestly, I thought his side of papaya was the best part of the meal. I had also wanted to order an iced chai latte but the lady at the counter said: «I don’t think we have ice.» What? You sell smoothies and juices and you don’t think you have ice at 8 in the morning?! And the most infuriating part was hearing the blender going off WITH ice while we sat there eating our meal. I guess she didn’t want to waste their ice on coffee? Then please don’t specifically state that your coffees can be ordered hot OR cold! I wouldn’t go back. And if you’re debating on whether or not to come here for breakfast, save your money and try somewhere else.

Their smoothie date with fate is the BOMB. We drove here from Poipu the last 3 days in Kauai just to have their smoothies in the morning.

Only for their smoothies: Soooooo gooooood! Some are better than others(at least for my tastes), and I would highly recommend the Taste of Hawaii(whether you usually prefer creamy or fruity smoothies, because it covers both bases).

Stopped here a couple times for lunch and smoothies. It’s a great stand on the side of the road — can’t miss it. Relaxed outdoor seating and amazing smoothies with tasty sandwiches and cookies. They also have some great chilled coconuts for fresh juice!

Don’t be all annoying and touristy. Come through with positive vibes and non durptyness for good service and food. Top reasons I love this place: 1. BEST acai bowl. Comes with a fresh variety of fruits, Anahola local granola topped with local honey and shredded coconut. 2. Aloha Fresh brand local maple coconut macadamia nuts. 3. Pivotal plethora of fresh fruits, citrus and delicacies. Did you know that the freshest ginger root is actually semi green in color? Have you ever seen real dragon fruit or exotic lemons in person? Have you ever truly smelled the seeping nectar of a succulent pineapple? Have you ever tasted a longon? Experience it all here. 4. Nice prepackaged salads, fruit and veggie medleys. 5. Huge prepped coconuts for drinking. Came here three times on my last trip. Love their flavors and flare.

I thought this place was great. They had a super yummy smoothie options they had an interesting balance of local fruits. They were quick and friendly. They also had fresh fruit for purchase, so I grabbed some cut up pineapple for $ 4 as well. I think my smoothie was around $ 6, which seemed fine for island prices. Cute little food cart off the highway. They have other food options too that seemed tasty.

Great quick stop going north or south on the island. Fresh fruits to grab if you need farmers market quality fresh fruit. Build your own smoothies or chose one of their combos. Great organic sandwiches. The tempeh BLT is perfect combination of flavors, yummy nutty bread and lots of tempeh. My favorite smoothie is papaya, banana, almond milk and rice protein powder. Call in advance if you are on the go.

This place was in a music video for a few seconds. If you don’t believe me just watch the music video for«Telegraph Ave» by Childish Gambino and fast forward to around 1:30. In fact the whole music video was filmed on the island. That’s the only reason I came to this juice bar. There’s so many juice bars on the island so that when I want a smoothie there’s usually one right around a corner. It looks like a hut on the side of the highway and if you don’t look closely you’ll miss the tiny sign that says the name of the juice bar. Tables outside and inside. Try getting a seat inside if it’s not too busy and you get a great view of the mountains. Taste of Hawaii smoothie was very tasty. Just the right amount of sweetness and that’s hard to achieve since other juice bars lack in sweetness or have too much sugar. Every sip had little bits of macadamia nuts to nibble on so it was more of a healthy dessert treat than a smoothie. I’m not even a «smoothie» person and tend to get bored of smoothies after a few sips but with this smoothie I’d wished I’d savored it more instead of slurping it up quick. Prices aren’t expensive Hawaii prices. They have expected prices that are comparable to mainland prices.

Stopped by on the way to the Kilauea lighthouse just because we saw a sign for sugarcane.(My bf loves sugarcane juice.) It’s a cute little shop with picnic tables out front and bar seating facing the mountains. Because it is kind of hard to mess up sugarcane juice(which was good), the 4 stars I’m giving is mainly for the really good banana bread we had.

Way overpriced, rude staff, bad food. Salad was very basic, the dressing was made of old olive oil and ruined the salad. I would not recommend this place. Not coming back.

Wow — cannot say enough about this place :) we were enjoying a lovely drive from Kapaa to Princeville and stopped in for some juice… and amazing juice they had! From traditional pineapple and guava to watermelon and different juices with chai! We landed on coconut water… IN A COCONUT! Guava juice and an iced latte. All drinks were top notch and very fresh! For food they have breakfast and all kinds of burritos and panini’s etc. being early we did the two egg meal with fruit and toast. Fabulous choice! You can sit outside in a picnic table and hang with the roosters or you can sit more covered under a canopy. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Amazingly fresh and delicious ingredients, pretty pricy(especially vegetables with rice, it was fresh but nothing mind blowing). The kale bean soup had an interesting sour taste, Smoothies are a must, absolutely amazing! Quinoa salad was great, as well as the beets(lots of garlic and turmeric, husband found it strong but l loved it). The best part is the view of the green mountains, fascinating!

This place was recommended to us as having the best smoothies on the island. It turns out it was the only place we had smoothies besides the ones we made in our room, but they were very good. We came later in the day and the refrigerator case was fairly empty(our friend also recommended that we grab a container of fresh guacamole). The grill is not open until closing time, as an FYI. We’ll put this on our must try list for earlier in the day the next time we go!
