Trendy and expensive… Unfriendly staff. Good selection of meat though.

This is where I go for my alcohol runs since it’s walkable from home. Be sure to check the weekly ads for the beer of the month, it usually is some kind of 12 pack for $ 12. Once month it was Blue Moon and they’ll have specials like Heineken for the same price. Good selection of craft beers. Their liquor can be a tad pricy though, I bought some gin that was overpriced. Around St. Patrick’s Day they had the Guinness promoters giving away from engraved glasses which was nice.
Can’t say anything about the food, but the place was clean enough.

A much better shopping experience since the remodel and expansion. They really needed the overhaul and it makes a huge difference, though the cashier obviously would have rather been elsewhere.

I like the size of this grocery store and their prices. Plus the employees are friendly local people who know you after awhile. It’s easy to get in and out and not kill your wallet. Wish they had fresh seafood but that’s about all!

I really like my neighborhood grocery store. They don’t always have the cheapest prices but they do have good sales, good produce and very kind and helpful staff. I’ve asked for help before and the answer I got was «Anything!» and they mean it. They will help you. I had two little ones with me and I was in the checkout and forgot something and a manager went and got me my item I needed. That’s customer service. I love this store.

Love Berkot butchers! They will special order for you. Quality is good and their prices are very reasonable for meat.

This place is a hidden gem for buying great beer. Im not talking miller pee or coors pee. Im talking 3 Floyds and Laguanitas. They have a great selection of locally brewed beers. They always have a crazy cheap prices on some stuff every week.

Local grocery store. Good selection of craft beers and not a bad deli/​pastry section either. It’s not a super huge place, but they’ve always been nice to me.

So I haven’t been back since they remodeled. It looks good from the outside. But why is this the only grocery store that has flies on the fruits and vegetables? The peaches looked like they fell off the truck and rolled into the store. I wanted some chicken and it just looked old and somewhat slimy. I did grab a couple of Oberweis jugs of milk and when I went to check out the cashier put them both in one bag and tied them up. Really! She was complaining at how heavy they were and discussed with someone else about paper bags, but at no time did the bulb ever come on! And the cucumber came up at the wrong price. But I knew that about this place and it was too hot to complain. The heat is why I didn’t go to Brookhaven in the first place. I should have read my last review.
