I have driven through Mojave thousands of times for the past 15 years and I have always tried different places to eat as I’ve come through. By far this is the best place in Mohave a very cute little shop that at first looks like a donut shop but then as you go in and look at the menu you find that there is a beautiful feminine style with a very manly menu. From everything from all much to barbecue sandwiches as brisket pulled pork and even a Polish dog for people that are simple. They have beautiful roast beef sandwiches turkey sandwiches and I want more. I am pleasantly surprised by the love and care of this little shack that whoever owns it has given it

Love this little shop. Any sandwich you choose is going to be the best you’ve ever tasted. Their soup is beyond compare too! This little place has great ambiance and I love that they play Air 1!!!

I don’t typically feel that most establishments deserve a 5-star rating. Not to say that a 5-star rating is unattainable, but I feel that you really have to display the cumulative performance to be worthy of such a prestigious recommendation. I work at the Mojave Air and Space Port, and probably frequent Stoken Donuts & Deli a few times a week. Now, I can appreciate classy food, but I was raised off of good home-cooked meals and comfort food, so that is truly where my heart is. So I decided to try every hot sandwich on their menu to get an overall feel for what they were bringing to the table. The very first sandwich I tried was the CUBAN, and it blew my mind. Of course, I could say anything about the sandwich and you wouldn’t know until you tried it, but I am being honest when I say that I could literally eat the Cuban once a day, every day of the week. Lol. So down the list I went: Pastrami, Philly-cheese steak, Reuben, French-dip, until I sampled about 90% of the lunch menu. You could order any hot sandwich on the menu and be happy. Plus, the quaint, cozy atmosphere in Stoken’s is nostalgic and warm. It used to be a small town library, and retains much of the unique features that were originally added. Lots of aerospace memorabilia is hanging everywhere along with reminders of the local history. I love that they open earlier than most establishments, and cater to the«blue-collar» demographic. You will always see big-rig trucks and work trucks parked outside at 5:30 A.M. while their drivers are filling up on piping hot coffee and plump donuts. Truly a great experience.

Great donuts, and a real breakfast for a good price. You won’t be disappointed. Biscuits and gravy are legit.

I want to give this place 5 stars, but I’m taking a little off for variety. Their sandwiches blew me away. I had no idea that such a quality shop was right around the corner in such a little town. Their donuts were surprisingly fresh and super good quality. The folks behind the counter were nice, one was friendly, the other kinda apathetic but nice enough. pros: donuts were very fresh, tasty, deli sandwiches very good. Drink variety was filled with fun small brands alongside the usual fountain drinks. Place was clean. Prices beyond reasonable. cons: not a lot of variety. Though fresh, the sides offered were a bit bland.

Food is okay but SO expensive. I got a bagel sandwich with 3 slices of bacon and a slice of cheese for $ 5.80…seriously?

It is very hard from me to get a 5 star but this business does. I am «a frequent flyer» here and stop by routinely since someone else at work told me about it, and I have continued to do the same thing in the community also by spreading what great sandwiches they make here. The meat on the sandwiches is excellent quality along with the breads. On top of that they serve drinks that most places usually don’t carry like henry weinharts root beer and cream soda. They also have donuts in the morning and if you get in late they usually still have a good selection. Nice owner and nice people who work there!

Another great lunch here… I had the warm TBM on my way through Mojave today. My lady had the tuna on wheat and they were both delicious. This town is very limited on tasty healthy food but this place does a great job.

A definite step up from the Subway we have been stopping at on our way in or out of town. Can’t believe we didn’t try this place earlier. Yes, the sandwiches take a bit longer but it’s worth the wait and the vanilla iced coffee is super yummy.

Good food but a little pricey for the portions. Biscuits and gravy and the hot pastrami are on point.

Located right off the 14 behind the Shell gas station. This little gem serves up an extremely decent donut(large) and deli sandwiches. We stopped for coffee and were pleasantly surprised. Open at 6am M-F! Might have to stop here on our way home as well.

THEBESTFOODINMOJAVE !!! Ive worked in and around this town for 16 years. This is hands down the best food and donuts(INAREA). You almost do not feel like your in Mojave once inside business. Very friendly owners and workers. High quality meats and ingredients. Prices are reasonable.

*Sigh* Unilocal reviewers… I’m SO disappointed with y’all pointing me to this place. Four and ½ stars? I think not! While the service was tremendously friendly and the restaurant was terribly cute; uhhhhg the food. Mediocre at best. Microwaved bacon on the Turkey CBR sandwich and the donuts were old and ~stale~(so much so, I only ate ¼ of it). Meh… Won’t be back. Next time I’m gonna try Old Sierra Café(tho maybe those Unilocal reviews are bunk too? Won’t know until I try)

Great local Deli, Donut, and Ice Cream shop! Definitely a diamond in the rough! Skip the fast food on the 14 and come eat here instead! Haven’t had a bad sandwich yet!

Totally thought this place would be as old and stale as the town of Mojave. Turns out I was happily proven wrong! This was a great place to stop for some lunch on our way back from Mammoth — I’m surprised Subway is still in business(it’s right next door). Everything was so fresh — bread, veggies, meats and cheeses — I was impressed. Don’t stay too long tho, you’ll be tempted to get a DELISHLOOKING donut! :)

Excellent deli and donuttery hidden off the main drag in Mojave. Avoid the crappy fast food and get a yummy sandwich, a bowl of one of their soups or chowders(lobster bisque is really good), and top it off with a donut or ice cream cone. Service is friendly and décor is awesome!

This place is AWESOME. You step in and forget you’re in Mojave. The staff are great — I love when the person making sandwiches can’t help but come over and tell you how much they love their own favorite sandwich. You can tell when you’re at a restaurant where the people love food in general, because the food they make for others is the way they would make it for themselves. Perfect. I can vouch for the reubens and the grilled pastrami sandwiches. There is not one item in these sandwiches that is a second thought or cheaped out on. The bread is fresh baked and tasty — not gross wonderbread but the real deal rye, sourdough and french. The meat cuts they use are not an afterthought either like at other delis. The staff will even recommend their favorites, tell you the brand and how it was cooked. I love this. Their shop is adorable, their staff is super friendly, and the food of course is wonderful. Ask for your sandwich To Go and you will receive a neatly packaged plate that will not leak on the seat next to you in the car.
