CVS Pharmacy

wrong meds given and wrong quantity. beware! check your meds. switching to another pharmacy immediately. When I approached to staff with the issues they were rude and nasty!!!

Great staff keep me coming back. Danny is the man! He remembers my name and my wife’s. Always asks about the kids and is great with service recovery when inevitably something goes wrong. The prescription process isn’t always the staffs fault, it can be the system.
Of note is at some point I was getting calls that meds were ready through the automated system and when I show up to get them the staff would work quickly to get it together for me. I don’t know why I would be called about it being ready if they are going to wait for me to show to fill it. It seems to have stopped but I think only because now I call and confirm that the bottle is filled and in the basket waiting.
I like the convenience of where the pharmacy is in relation to my house and the drive up. But if Danny ever left out would be the incentive I need to look at ordering meds online. Until then Danny holding it down. Promote that man!

The staff is friendly and helpful. If you need a prescription filled they are there for you. Danny in the pharmacy is funny as hell and personable.

The people who answer the phone at the pharmacy are beyond lazy and rude. Just called because my Rx was accidentally filled at the Mohegan Lake instead of the Scarsdale pharmacy, and holy cow was the lady rude on the phone. She essentially passive aggressively chewed me out for not understanding the CVS protocol and knowing that I was supposed to call Scarsdale instead of her. What a gem.

I’ve never been the type of person to review anything on Unilocal,but I was so put off by my experience at the CVS Mohegan Lake Pharmacy today that I simply had to. I’m a registered nurse for the top hospital in NY so I can empathize with short staffing and feeling overwhelmed on the job. That being said, if I ever treated one of my patients the way this pharmacy treats its customers, I would not be employed. Even today, when I was the only person waiting to see the pharmacist, the woman there could not be bothered. I’ve only ever been made to feel like a nuisance there; the staff don’t want to answer questions, they simply don’t want to do their job. I work hard for my salary every day — and if CVS Mohegan Lake pharmacists cannot learn to step up their game and care for their clients, then they should have to trade their six figure salaries with those of us who actually deserve them. So so upset that my hospital insurance will only allow me to go through CVS pharmacies… I will make sure I drive very much out if my way to do business through a different location from this point forward…

In the past I’ve had a number of issues with my prescriptions not being available or ready on time.
Today when we went to pick up our 3 prescriptions (hubby, myself and baby girl) they had 2 of the 3 prescriptions. Apparently our daughters prescription was not though the Dr called in all 3 at the same time… Hmmmmmmm :-/​disorganized maybe? Idk… It was irritating to have to leave and go back… get your act together CVS!!! This isn’t the 1^st time this has happened to us either.
The nice thing about them is the drive through pharmacy. I think that is the only reason why I still go there.
