Valley First Credit Union

For the most part, I actually like this credit union. I have dealt with some of the nicest people at this branch. The tellers have always been friendly and helpful. Not a bad one in the bunch. I can even tolerate the fact that the ATM machines go down quite often and I have to go into the bank to do my transactions. What I don’t like is them sending me a text message that a deposit was made, then pulling it a couple of hours later with no notification that the money was removed. The only way I found out was checking my balance myself and I am so glad I did! Their customer service rep said it there was a mix up with the amounts so it would be redeposited on Tuesday. Fine. No problem. Guess what? I check my balance on Tuesday and still no deposit! BIG problem. I call them and get attitude with the remark, «We didn’t say what time on Tuesday it will be deposited.» Really?!? Because every single time we have this direct deposit it goes in by 8 o’clock in the morning without fail. A simple explanation as to the delay in our deposit would have been more than adequate, but the crappy attitude was uncalled for. Please, please, PLEASE don’t treat your customers rudely and act like you are doing them a favor by doing your job. We work for every single penny and expect our hard-​earned money to be deposited on time. You dropped the ball. Not the employer. Certainly not us. Politeness and a little compassion can go a long way in this day and age. Something to think about.
Update: Talked to a customer service rep to find out why the deposit still hasn’t been made and they said that it won’t be done till tomorrow (no definitive time, just «some time» in the morning), even though the person I spoke to earlier said it would be done by today. Once again, I wouldn’t have known unless I called. Nice. Horrible communication all around. And then the rep said that we shouldn’t have expected the deposit today, anyway, because our pay day technically isn’t till tomorrow (even though we have gotten paid every other Tuesday for YEARS) and they are doing it as a courtesy by releasing the funds a day early. Wow. Way to blame us for your screw up.

Horrible experience from this place. I wanted to open an account and they have poor customer service. She say I have an appointment that she have to attend too but that wasn’t the case. She was just chit chatting with another coworker. And then she comes out and said I can schedule you an appointment for another day. Lady I’m trying to give you money for having to open an account. Either hire some more people that likes to help other people. Pls do not under estimate people by the way they look. Smh!!!

So Imma start by saying that Valley first sucks monkey balls. The staff there are extremely rude and they seem miserable. I do not feel welcome here at all. Screw these people.

Always a long wait. Tiffany the branch manager is very rude and condensing. Her excused was she needs to get people on breaks! Wow what an excuse! Lean to manage your business.

Ugh, this bank really irritates me bad… and really it is only this location! Why you ask? Well, for every 20 people in line there is 1 – 2 tellers at ALL times… NO JOKE!
