This place has cockroaches they are family owned so any compliant don’t matter they will just kick you out instead had my neighbors apt broke into the office now maintenance tried to help her get man out of house I wouldn’t recommend any ever renting a place from here the cockroaches are enough for me to put my 30 days in

This is the best place I ever lived. There always there when you need something fix in there always on top of things. Never have any problems even with my neighbors. It’s close to bus stop, Ampm, subway aloso there is a New Mexican restaurant. There all walking distance. I always recommend the redwoods apartments.

My husband and I have lived here for about 2 years and we honestly love it here. I have never lived in an apartment so I didn’t know what to expect. But everything has been great. The staff are friendly and have taken care of our small issues with in a day. Our apartment was upgraded, new floors, carpet, sinks, toilets, lights, countertops, blinds and we loved that, it was like a new apartment. We have a nice balcony with a small room that works great for storage. We have been nothing but happy here and would recommend the redwoods apartments.

Ive been here for about 3 years and have had no issues with my apartment or staff, anytime I have called the staff everything had been done in a timely fashion.

As a first time renter living on my own The Redwoods have made this a great experience for me. The office staff is so friendly and always helpful whenever I call for any kind of assistance. The apartment is very spacious and well taken care of and there has been some upgrades done so everything looks nice. I had an issue with some bugs and spiders at first due to the big trees outside my patio, but once I called they came and spray and it’s been fine since.

If i could give negative stars, I would. This establishment is absolutely horrible and the management has such a piss poor work ethic its terrifying.
They allow ppl to live here that are drug addicts. I have been here for 7 months and in that time I hsve seen more riff raff, gang bangers, tweakers, and dumpster divers than I have in my whole life.
Managment doesnt honor any online or other promotions. They never send maintenance out when they are requested. The apartment was supposed to be ready on our targeted move in date, we sgow up and they tell us that they apparently got a hold of us earlier to tell us it would be a few more days.
Charged us an extra 400 $ for the deposit. Rolled their eyes when we would put work orders in. 1 smoke detector in a 1100 sq ft living space.
I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. Save yourself. And your sanity.

When we first moved here it said in the ad this is a gated community. The gates don’t even work. One never opens, and one never closes. The one that never opens is actually the most convenient to use but nobody seems to think logically. I actually found my apartments through

was offering $ 100 if we mention their name but the apartment manager asked me not to and she would take $ 100 off our rent and never did. So
deals pretty much mean nothing here. When we moved in the Apartment manager assigned us a parking space that somebody else was already using. She moved us again to another that somebody was already using. Then finally all the way across the apartments so me and my girlfriend can walk in the earlier hours of the morning to a parking lot full of tweekers and garbage diggers that they allow stay here and welcome to dig through the trash every hour on the hour. The third night we from moving in a police chase ended in front of my apartment. If those gates had worked, this would have ended in the parking lot away from residents. How hard is it to fix the fucking gates?
Next door to me, there is a family of tweekers who not only leave garbage and boxes of tweaker related items in front of their and our unit, but they also throw trash and cigarette butts on our front step every day until we have to threaten them to pick them up. These particular neighbors attract tweakers every 15 minutes. Oh how do I know they are tweakers? They all never wear shirts, have 18 teeth and ride BMX bikes. They are not 6 years old either. They are 20 — 50. Quite the age range of daily visitors. You see the next door neighbor who was living with his wife, and her boyfriend and two kids call the cops to their unit about 7 times a month. Once because of a car jacking, another time for beating the shit out of the wife, another for the boyfriend raping the wife. The list goes on and on. We asked this apartment manager to have these people out of our neighborhood but through a legal loop hole, with them having kids they get to stay 90 days after eviction. So they can blow meth clouds in their kids faces and have so many people visit on bikes it looks like fuckin critical mass ends at my house. These same neighbors sit in their window, hanging out of their children’s printed sheets for curtains style they love so much and smoke cigarettes, throw garbage into the bushes, and banana peels when they are hungry enough to eat, and fuck loud enough so everyone knows this fat lady inside is actually getting laid by the greasiest of humans ever. The boyfriend eventually was kicked out because of a rape attempt in front of their kids, and a new little Mexican boyfriend moved in with his 10 speed a day later. He is no better. I had a gang member outside my door ready to fight him for the $ 145 he owed from a meth deal but he wouldn’t come out. I woud have actually liked to see him get his ass beat. But oh well. I guess thats asking too much.
The other day our new neighbor moved in and asked me if I knew where to get any meth or heroin. I told him we don’t do that kind of shit around here and wanted to beat his ass myself but didn’t want to get junkie all over my knuckle hair. Instead I sighed to myself and called our manager. Again we asked if our parking spot could be moved closer so my girlfriend doesn’t have to walk with a knife at night by herself leaving for work. The apartment manager disagreed. She said then who ever moved in wont get a closer parking spot. The irony. This would be an OK place to live if somebody in the office had some time of restraint and street smart. What ever happend to being prejudice? No not against minorities, but against meth heads. I can spot one a mile away. Why can’t they? The prices are cheap for rent every month, but dealing with the vagrants, mental cases, white trash and tweaks is kinda tiresome. I guess you can’t have your meth and smoke it too.
