I’ve been going to Steven & his wife, Tina, since before they got their own salon! They both do great work! & so do most of their workers. One in particular, Catherine, cleans the toe nails very well! Best place in Modesto get your nails done.

I love this place. They are all very nice and do a wonderful job. I get great wear and tear out of my nails when I get them done here.

I have been going to Steven for a couple years now and he never fails to please. He is a great nail tech and a perfectionist which I love. You don’t feel rushed here and I love that. He’s amazing at doing nails and that’s why he has loyal customers. Highly recommend going. He keeps the place very nice and clean also which I love. Great job!

Katherine did an awesome job!!! I love my nails, she really takes her time and looks at every little detail to make sure there perfect… I only get gel manicures and could only get nude or neutral colors for work so its very hard for a nail place to have 6 different nude colors bt this place does they have sooooo many gel polishes to choice from. And the manager always makes sure his gel nail polish is stocked with all the new colors… This is my new favorite place.

Love this shop, I’ve always been really picky with where I get my nails done & this place has been the best so far. I’ve gotten everything done; shellac, acrylics, pedicures, even waxing and I’ve never left unhappy. Steven is really kind and professional, although I like Dila to do my nails :) I’ve been coming here for about two years and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I don’t see how this place gets the good reviews it gets! First off, the outer gel coating for my acrylics chipped off two days after application– that’s never happened to me! It wasn’t just my bad luck either, my sister’s black shellac also chipped within a couple days! Anywho, I thought I’d give this place a try because of the good reviews.
I went in to get pink and white fill after I had shellac with acrylic on. I told Steven exactly what I wanted and without any consideration, he buzzed off my nails from what took me forever to grow them, to nub length! I was INFURIATED. After asking if he could leave the white tip very thin, he the gave me what was a thick band of white– HELLO?! Am I getting through to you or am I not speaking English?!
I’ll stick to going where I normally go because aside from not listening to clientele wants and needs, the products from acrylics to the top layer or gel are clearly low quality. My nails looked like glue-​ons from the drug store. Save your time and $$$!

Love this place, I recommend Steven, he does them the best, you just have to make sure you call and make an appointment with him. :)

The staff was nice to me but the lady did a sloppy job and left her tools on my nail to long and burned me a little. There was paint all over my fingers and my nails are fat and bulky. She didn’t put the glitter on like I asked and there are air bubbles. As soon as she was done she grabbed her purse and left so I felt like she rushed me.
I have long nail beds and this job made then look short and stubby.

I got a pedicure and a full set, my pedicure was ok, and my full set was not what I wanted. I showed a picture and selected my colors, the colors she put on me were not the ones I picked. She argued with me that they were and when I asked if she could change the colors she got extremely irritated with me, I was willing to pay to change them. And now one is broken in less than 24 hours. I will never go back.

I have been going to a nail shop in San Jose for over 15 years. I recently moved to Manteca so the drive has been a drag I tried a few places in the area and didn’t like them. After coming here, I won’t ever go anywhere else. Thank you Steven and Unilocal for helping me find this place yay so happy

I will NOT be returning. Me and my mom both got our nails done and they looked very nice, but our hands broke out in some sort of weird rash. They sting they are sensitive. Idk if it’s the products they use or if it’s just not sanitary. But I am very unhappy. Do not recommend to anyone. Run away!

I went here to get stiletto nails for my birthday. I couldn’t be happier with the services and overall look of my nails.
Catherine did an amazing job with making my nails exactly how I wanted. You should definitely check this place out!

Got my nails done here about 5 days ago and my shellac nails are already chipping, and my nails were filed unevenly… Also, the woman that did my pedicure seemed to be rushed, thus my pedicure is kind of uneven.
I give 3 stars only because the last time I’ve been here, someone did a good job on my last pedicure.

I finally came here to get a full acrylic set because a friend had highly recommended them, but I am only moderately happy with the results. I felt like there was good communication between the manicurist and myself but her execution was sub par. I left with an overly filed nail bed on the outside of 3 fingers (meaning the soft under the nail skin was exposed and tenderized), and my pinky finger was actually filed so much that it bled.
I still believe they deserve 3 stars so far because I was treated pretty well and the job was really done to my satisfaction and I might go back to give a second chance.

I was in the area for the day, i checked on Unilocal for the best nail places in Modesto, this was the place that came up so here i went .
Well i called at 4:30pm and I made an appointment for 5:00pm same day as i Called.
Well I got there at 4:50pm., i got a greeting by Steven, i picked out my color. Sat down waiting for about 20mins. Ok so it is 5:25pm. Still no help.
kathy who did my manicure, came up to me and said you will have to wait another 20minutes. I have to change the nail polish from a client… Ok, i started getting bothered.
My appointment was at 5:00pm it was already 5:25 and i have to waiting another 20minutes. Just because the lady changed her minds on the nail color? Alright well that loses 2 stars for me already. I am a first timer here at this location, so that is just disappointing. I show up 10minutes early than my appointment time and i didn’t get help till 5:45pm.
So, i wanted a 3 color fading design .
Hope you get what i mean, its 3 colors and they all blend. Looks really nice :)
Well no, some reason Kathy didn’t know how to do it. My nails, honestly look like a small kid experiment on my nails.
I do not like them, but i had no time to stay longer to get them fixed .
I did tell Kathy i had to be somewhere by 6:30pm.
Well i also got a pedi, i ended not finishing the pedicure because i was already late to my plans for the night.
Sometimes, wish i had a translator around me to help to explain what i really want on my nails, because i did not get what i wanted … I do not like my nails but i paid anyways.
So 2 stars because well i was greeted when i walked in and um, my pedicure lady was nice. I think her name was jenny? I am not sure .
N Kathy well, i know she was maybe trying but my nails didn’t come out good.
Hope i find a good place in Modesto for Nails, a real 5 star one that makes customers come back and never leave .
