Got two bad cuts here. «Newbie» hairdressers get hired here. Be careful. I got two refunds with no questions asked because of the bad cuts. Unfortunately I am moving on to another hairdresser at a different salon.

Love Amy! I’ve been going to her for about 4 or 5 years now. She never disappoints me! I wont let anyone else touch my hair or my families hair!

Just got back from getting my hair colored by Amy. She does an amazing job. I love the fact that I can just call the day before to make an appointment as my schedule is a little crazy and never know when I can fit it in. I have been to a lot of other places and my hair has been so much healthier since I started coming here. Prices are very reasonable as I have paid double what I pay here and the end result was not as good. I recommend this place to everyone.

I followed my hairstylist to this HairMasters location a while back. I am always a walk-​in for haircut and I never wait more than 10 minutes. All the stylists are experiences and know how to ask the questions to give you the best cut/​style. I am always greeted with a smile from one of the stylists and the atmosphere is always positive. The salon is always clean and bright and stocked with product if needed.

Great service and haircut every time. Been coming here for years. Veronica is the BEST!!!

The staff here is excellent. Their customer service is top notch. I always feel welcomed here and confident I’ll leave satisfied. Wait times are always minimal AND they honor competitors coupons! SAY WHAAAAT?!!

Went in to get my hair colored. First time in my life ~ and I’m over 50. Lol. Erika did an amazing job. She even explained everything she was doing. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions. Great customer service!
My hair turned out beautiful! Love the color and it looks so healthy. She just did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend Erika and Hair Masters.

Soktha is awesome with layering my curly hair!!! Honestly, I walked into this salon with a kind of exasperated resignation that stylists want to deny the existence of my curls by flatironing it; especially because their technique makes my hair «poof out.»
Soktha was able to cut my hair that no flatironing was necessary, and this is a great indication of a good hair cut because who has the time to constantly iron their hair?— err except those who have too much time on their hands.

This place has finally seen the end of my business. I have been going for a long time and have complained several times that the waiting times are unnecessarily long even when making an appointment and this time was the last string for me. I walked in and see several seats and 2 haircut ladies available and I was incredibly happy thinking that for once I wouldn’t have to wait. Wrong I was. I signed my name on the sheet and the Asian lady comes and greets me and asks for my first and last name because they got a new system. I go along with it but after repeating my name 5 times I got frustrated. Then she asks for my phone number and I finally say… is all of this necessary, I just want a haircut. Then I sat down because she was taking forever to fool around with the system. She said she would be with me in a moment but instead some lady walks in and she starts to help her find and buy products knowing she will make commission. I continue waiting all while the other lady could have easily taken me in and she even asked me why I was waiting and I replied that I don’t know why myself and I don’t know what this lady is doing. So finally the First Lady helped the customer find her products and is now taking forever to fool around with the system. Now here is the part that really got to me. Some guy walks in and the other lady immediately took him in, no answering any questions, no name or phone number or anything. So I am still there waiting for this rude and disrespectful lady to finish stuff up and I finally got so frustrated that I just left.
I promise to take my battle to every possible social media outlet there is and hurt this place. I don’t care how many regular customers they have.
Lastly, that is not the first time the Asian lady has done this. It is the third time. The other times she wasted my time was by offering a customer a free shampoo sample to ensure the customer bought the product so that she could get commission and tip. Bunch of BS. No more. Congrats, you got your commission at the expense of many possible customers that you won’t get.

I had an Asian lady cut my hair. I wish I remembered her name, but I forgot. My 4 stars isn’t for Hair Masters being the most posh salon in Modesto, BUT because they accept walk-​ins, greet their customers, and best of all — my stylist listened to how I wanted my haircut done and cut it that way. & At $ 16 a cut, please please don’t forget to leave a generous tip!

I have dealt with many ignorant people in my life but I haven’t seen the likes of the manager at this location. she was so unpleasant i really regret going there.

I reccomend anthony! Extremely professional and excellent customer service! They make u sign a paper that u understand agree and approve services then keep a customer profile just in case yur hair stylist is out that day.
