I have had the pleasure of dealing with this company on a few occasions. I needed a power supply and went into the store. He was able to give me a power supply for free. It’s really nice to deal with honest businesses. I would recommend H & H without hesitation. Thank you for the great customer service.

I am new to Modesto and didn’t know the different players when I needed help. I made a terrible mistake when I took a laptop for recover to another (closer) «business». I quickly realized my mistake and retrieved the laptop. I did some better research and found Doug and H & H ComputTec. I immediately got sense that Doug was very honest and he told me the possible limitations to my particular recovery problem. On top of it, I had a laptop with windows 8 German. I was reliever that it didn’t scare him off. Within a day he gave the the great news that he made a total recovery despite a very failing hard drive. He organized the data (which was crucial to completing a PhD dissertation) and he made this customer very happy. It didn’t hurt that his demeanor very «real». I never felt that I would have any surprises. The whole experience was calm and under control. I cannot say that for other laptop service businesses I’ve tried in the area.

Definitely the place to go for computer repair. Took my very dysfunctional laptop that I stopped using years ago in to see if there was any hope of making it work again. Doug was very upfront about what he could and couldn’t do and told me he’d call me the next day with the estimate and if I didn’t want the work done their would be no charge. He did exactly what he said & let me know the cost to fix it which was way below my ideas about how much it would cost. He fixed it for $ 25 LESS than the «other guys» wanted to charge & I picked it up the next day. I can’t believe how well my laptop runs which saved me the cost of buying a new computer. Old-​school quality, price & service but up to date product & repair knowledge. This is the guy to see for your funky running computers, don’t waste your time & energy looking elsewhere! Even my UPS driver recommends this place & he delivers to a bunch of these type business’s.

I took my laptop in to have a virus and spyware removed. I found this guy, Doug, to very knowledgeable, fast, and reputable. In two days he fixed the problems by removing the viruses while protecting my data and existing software for less then half of what the big box (BB) store quoted.
After picking up my laptop I was able to use everything immediately as if I never had a problem.
I will be recommending this guy to all my family and friends.

The man running this shop is helpful, professional, & patient. The shop itself is not fancy, but I like it the way it is:)

I took my lap top in to have viris removed. He called the next day and said it was ready. I got home with it and it was doing the same things. pop up adds and almost impossible to operate. I returned it to H&H and he finally figured out the
problem. He has a flat fee of $ 129.00 which is excessive, however, I was given the option so shame on me. I will not likely to return although he is a nice person
