Del Rio Cleaners

This was an excellent location for us to use as it was very close to the place my wife worked (before she became ill).
Lately, however…
They have scorched a number of my suits — and my uniforms have taken on a decidedly shiny appearance that I don’t like — from the wool being pressed too long and at too high a temperature. Luckily, American Airlines lost them when the suitcases of my crew and I were lost/​stolen, so I had an excuse to purchase new ones when I was next in Miami or Hong Kong.
I brought in two uniform shirts (expensive because they are custom-​made) which had been stained by hydraulic fluid. I pointed out the stains and what had caused them to the person at the counter, asking that the shirts both be dry cleaned.
When I got the shirts back, they had been laundered (and starched, yuck.). Laundering the shirts caused the hydraulic fluid stains to be ‘set’ into the fabric, ruining them.
Oh well…
Looks like it’s time to find somewhere else to take my clothing and unis.

Well I’ve gone back to using Del Rio Cleaners because I have moved again out to the Del Rio neighborhood and it is too far away for me to go to Fresh Cleaners on Floyd. Del Rio Cleaners does deliver and pickup in this neighborhood and that service is such a great convenience! They do a good job with the pick up and delivery.
I have used Del Rio again now for about 2 years. In this time, they have not broken any buttons like they used to, nor have they lost any of our clothing like they used to. They are occasionally late on some of them still however. The counter service at the Riverbank and the Coffee Rd locations are still not very friendly. It’s not that they are rude, but they just don’t try to make you feel welcomed when you walk in.
Anyway, if you want delivery service, I think Del Rio Cleaners is good. Just be sure you don’t leave your clothing outside on your porch too long as I have many neighbors who have had theirs stolen. This really is not the fault of Del Rio Cleaners however, but just something to be aware of.

Heard Del Rio cleans purses so I gave them a try with mine. They didn’t warn me the leather would bleed!!! Not happy at at. Leather is hard as a rock and no longer soft. Should have left well enough alone. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LIGHT COLORED PURSES HERE! DON’T SIGN THE RELEASE.

I used Del Rio Cleaners for two years. In that time, they ruined two of my most expensive shirts and would return shirts to me with missing buttons. They offered to pay for one of the shirts they ruined, but they said that I would need to go find another shirt exactly like the one they ruined, which is not sold anymore anywhere as styles and trends change. As a dry cleaning service, they should be aware of this. The most recent shirt that they ruined and stained beyond repair they still made me pay for the cleaning even though it came back with stains on it! Seriously?!! The lady that i showed the shirt too acted as if I had slapped her in the face when I mentioned the problem to her. Bad customer service! I had only wore the shirt twice. I never received a phone call from anyone in management about the problem and I left my name and number with a note explaining what happened. It is really too bad that they are so horrible because they are so convenient for me to drop off as they near my workplace. I will not be back!

I’ve been going to Del Rio Cleaners for about 5 yrs. I love that the employees are friendly and always remember my name. My clothes always get the best care, and look great.

I have been using Del Rio Cleaners for the past couple of years and I have always been 100% satisfied with their customer service and quality of Dry Cleaning. I highly recommed that you try their service out for yourself.

Friendly and dependable service. The staff is great at moving the line (when there is one). The clothes are always in great condition and on time for pick up. They even managed to get my skirt that always turns up at the hemline to behave!

Always get great service. Been using them for @ 7 years. Would have given a «five star» but they have lost a couple of shirts over the years. They paid to replace shirt both times. That’s what makes good service, correcting a mistake.
