Cornucopia Natural Foods

My husband and I have purchased products at Cornucopia for many years. We appreciate the personalized service. They usually have a good stock of merchandise available.

Love the local farmer organic produce. Was able to find
kosher lamb and organic eggs from local farmers.

Cornucopia has a huge selection of natural foods and health/​homeopathic products, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also carry a limited supply of locally grown, organic produce if that’s what you’re into. My only qualm is that the refrigerated probiotics I wanted they did have in stock but were more than three months expired. They offered me a discount, but I read online that probiotic potency is greatly reduced after 90 days. So I chose a different brand which I ended up not caring for as much. I’ve been back twice since then, but they’ve yet to restock the ones I was originally looking for. Have to drive all the way to Artesian in Stockton to get them, instead.

This place has it all it seems I highly recommend stopping by, good people.

This place is wonderful. I walked in dumb as a box of rocks and walked out a wealth of information. I bought items for my wife who just had a major surgery. There shelves are full of wonderful item’s at very fair prices. There parking is good and have good lighting. I will be shopping here for many years. By the way. The stuff they sold me for my wife is helping her recovery. The last Dr visit was great news. Thank you cornucopia.

We have been shopping here weekly for about a year now. I love they know us by name. Everybody who works here is so friendly and helpful. Health is their number one focus. If they don’t have it they are willing to track it down or order it for you.

I have been coming here for years. If I need answers I get good educated help. I come for various items; especially their bulk items like zylitol (my favorite natural sugar) asylum husks, pink real salt, agar agar, ect. I also like that they carry Bison meat. Another treat is the Pure Joy bakery items in the case at the counter! So good!!!
Overall, I am very pleased with the store layout, the inventory is always stocked and customer service is great.

They are always helpful and friendly. I have to knock a star off due to them not allowing paying customers to use the restroom.

Only place in town that sells raw milk and raw butter from organic pastures dairy. They also sell pastures eggs, an excellent egg for hollandaise sauce. Essential oils, cod liver oil, supplements, supplements, supplements. They have a coloring table in the back of the store to entertain the wees. Buzzbees raw honey sticks at the counter and jars on the shelf. Our family has been customers for around 3 years. We love it there, a great place for specialty foods. I have to share a sweet story, always being on limited time and gas budget I group my errands, one day I had to pick my pup up from the vet and need raw milk for the kids before returning home, I stopped here and found some dehydrated veggies to feed my pup hoping it would keep him form shriveling up and starving to death before we got home. One of the owners came out to greet him and was so moved when he saw my poor pup gobble up the veggies, he went back into the store and grabbed some dog treats (protein rich) and started feeding my pup himself. I will never forget how wonderful that moment was, so unexpected and sweet. Best Grocery store ever. oh, and «damn the man» shop small business whenever possible.

I have been coming here for years and I love this store. No matter what my question I get a knoweldgeable and informative response. I have gotten so many things here I couldn’t find anywhere else, and also discovered a lot of new products from them, such as their Ezekial grain bread. I generally come in looking for teas and organic products, but I also get milk, yogurt, wine, herbs, flax seed and more here. It’s an awesome place!

I have known both the owners and been shopping for almost 20 years here. The owners are very helpful and very educated. They treat everyone with dignity and provide solutions to our health needs. I love the selection they carry and the ability to walk into a local owned store and get a smile and friendly help every time I visit.

So Cornicupia is a health food store. This where I buy most of my raw dairy. Like milk, cheese, kefir, butter, and cream. Karl & Tom are very knowledgeable about a lot of holistic medicine. They have helped my family a lot in our times of being sick. They have so many natural medicine. And if they don’t have an answer they will find one for you. Two of the nicest gentlemen a have ever met. They even brought down there price on raw milk because it was getting to expensive for there customers. They also have grass fed beef, local honey, and local produce. Not much on here produce but that fact they support local is why I support them.

I frequent Cornucopia and have never had a bad experience. Mostly I buy raw milk and sometimes kombucha. Everyone who works at the store is kind and helpful. I love supporting a local business and Cornucopia is a great one to support.

I recently heard about Cornucopia and was looking for a store that provided healthier and meatless foods. During my first visit I noticed that although I was the only one in the store the man and younger woman did not even acknowledge me. After I purchased some hot dogs and buns I returned home to make lunch when I noticed that the hot dogs were expired. I called the store to let them know and they responded to me that they were fine and were very rude about it. I called them back to tell them I rather exchange them for something else. They did not seem pleased yet said okay. When I got there the man argued with me that they were fine and they would not take them back and they could not exchange them because everything else they had was expired. I told him if it was a month past date I would not think anything of it YET they were over a year expired, he continued to argue with me telling me that it was impossible for them to be that expired until I told him to look at the package. He then blamed it on the company that sent them. He did not give any apology. It was the worst customer service from both employees. I can not believe how rude they were. It was the worst customer service!

All the employee’s are outstanding at Cornucopia! If they don’t know the answer to something they will take the time to look it up but there isn’t much I have found they don’t know. Everyone at the store is very focused on good customer service. There selection is great and if they don’t carry it they will order for you. The best health food store in Modesto!
