Chen Philip, DDS

I was looking for a new dentist and was referred by Dr. Hoybjerg. I enjoy going to Dr. Chen’s office. He is a great dentist. He cares about his patients. His staff at the office are friendly and kind. I went to see Dr. Chen for two crowns and teeth cleaning. Thanks for treating my husband and me. I also enjoyed the Christmas card. It was a sweet treat.

So I had been putting off going to the dentist for a really long time, and with my new insurance I wasn’t sure what office I wanted to try out. I had gone to Dr. Chen a while back, so I decided to give his new office a try and I LOVED it. Everyone that works there is so nice from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. I literally called to see when I could go in and I was able to come in that day and actually get some work done. The dental assistant was super nice and made me feel like we had known each other already! Definitely recommend this place to those who aren’t sure or are looking for a good dental office. :)

I had not been to the dentist in over a year and was looking for a good dentist that was close to work in Ceres. I started asking my coworkers and a majority of them kept recommending this place. I decided to take a chance and scheduled an appointment and let me tell you I am glad I listen to recommendations because this place was very welcoming! I was greeted right away when I walked in and had to fill out the normal first time patient paperwork. Once the paperwork was done, I was called to the back within minutes. The staff here is really nice and not pushy or moody like some places I have been. They were very accommodating and respectful to my needs. I felt more like a friend than simply another patient. The Dentist, Mr. Chen was very nice as well and easy to deal with. He did not make me feel stupid for not coming in a year but instead started the conversation off with a positive, No cavities and then proceeded to inform me on some tips to further address some minor issues. I can say without I doubt I will be recommending this place to friends and family and will be returning soon to have my wisdom teeth out and know I am in good hands.

My husband needed urgent dental care but has not seen any local dentist before, so we quickly had to find one that accepted our insurance. I called Dr. Chen’s clinic and their receptionist was quite pleasant and understanding and she accommodated my husband for an appointment that very day. The clinic is tastefully furnished and comfortable, with a tv and lots of magazines in the waiting room. Dr. Chen, according to my husband, was cool and explained to him clearly the procedures that needed to be done, while considering the cost to the patient.
