Burlington Coat Factory

I absolutely LOVE this store. Great bargains for the whole family in every department. Great selection of clothes for everyone with awesome prices! Not only do they have great clothes, they have household goods too. There’s a little something for everyone.
My only complaint is the line is always long and they don’t have enough employees working to help everyone. Even if you go in for just one item, you are stuck in the long line. Other than that, Burlington is a great store!

Wow! Burlington coat factory on Mchenry really needs to check their management team! The chick that is the manager on the floor right now should be fired for the way she treats her employees! Talking down to them loudly on the floor. Telling them how none of them do anything! Damn Bitch u need a reality check. U can’t talk to anyone like that. All the money I was going to spend in your store will be spent somewhere else now!

Waste of time. 50 customers and two registers = :45 min wait in LINE! I will never shop there again. The deals are ok. but not worth the wait or the stress.

This place is a ridiculous, overpriced mess. The only decent thing here is the fashion (not real) jewelry selection. Every time I tell myself I should give them a shot, I regret it. Last month. Went in looking for baby shower gift, but they don’t even post most prices, an employee had to explain how to read the price codes on the boxes of strollers, incredibly idiotic way to merchandise. Once I did find the prices, I couldn’t believe how expensive everything is. I found most of the items CHEAPER on Amazon (Which I ended up purchasing through) or just a few dollars cheaper than in a first rate store. I don’t think they’ve quite grasped the whole discount concept. If prices are virtually the same, I’d rather just buy at Target or Babies R Us and have the warranty, etc. Total waste of time and money. The one saving grace of this store is the suit section for men. One extra star for that.

I love discounted stores! This on is one of them, but I got to admit it’s messy, things on the floor, no price tags or items missing for packaging! So come when you have time to waste.
They have a wide variety of items for any ages! From cloths to accessories and makeup perfumes colognes all for a discounted price! I love theire Jewlery and juniors section, super cool!
This will defenilty be my first stop when looking for an outfit!

I gotta say this store isn’t for everyone the stuff is all over the place and hard to really find what your looking for but sometimes they could have some good stuff you just gotta keep an eye out and you might just get lucky and find what your looking for.

First of all, I appreciate the way the checkout is now, no more guessing which line will go quickest and then ending up in the slowest one.
Second, no, it is not the most organized and things are mixed and on the floor. But I understand that customers mistreat the product and misplace it, not the employees. I always see them attempting to clean up other peoples mess.
Third, I love the variety. Come in for clothes, oh but wait décor… oow look luggage and bedding and coats and kitchen accessoriee! :)
They also have an in store tailor!
I guess I just dont expect the place to be spotless when it is so busy, so large, and so inexpensive.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. OK so things could be organized a little bit better, but the huge variety and consistency along with cheap prices if you look around their shop makes them a great company. The customer service for my experience was not nearly as bad as people are making it sound. I had no problems, and this was the only place that sold many different coats year-​round.

I had spent all day out shopping looking for the prefect dress. After hours it was a relief to walk into Burlington! I found loads of amazingly priced dresses. It was no time at all before I had a whole collection to try on. The staff was super friendly and nice. They helped me find everything. It turned my long day into a great experience. I will definately be returning and telling my friends.

I’m tired of shopping like this. Modesto demand to be treated better. You deserve better than this slop shop.

Messy & dusty. It seems like they have raised their prices as well. I don’t remember seeing a 30 $ shirt for a non name brand before. Maybe its just me. There can be some gems, especially in the accessory section, but at times I feel like i’m at a good will with having to dig thru dated clothes and thrashed areas. I really hope they fix this because this use to be one of my favorite stores :(

I’d never been in a Burlington before and my dad said if you have never been in Burlington before then you’ve never lived.
We went in and I was like WOW. They had nice-​ish stuff scattered around in the store, like slippers and shoes… Pillows…
Once I walked around it reminded me of a giant Ross. I didn’t buy anything there but my dad bought a coat…

I tried on about 10 coats and fell in love with a green bcbg coat I went to look at the price tag and noticed it was $ 99 I walked up to the register trying to find a coupon for my coat online thru my phone. Cashier Amanda waited patiently until I let her know I wasnt able to find one. Without question she rang me up and gave me $ 20 off my coat! WOW! I can’t thank her enough. Nice people still exist!

Every now-​and-​then I’ll find something worth buying here. Other than that, I have nothing positive to say about this store. The place is way too trashy to be in an American city (if you know what I mean). Clothes are always unorganized, and don’t bother trying to find shoes that fit. Staff members are never helpful, and just look lost most of the time.

This place has really nice guy clothes and nice coats. I saw some beautiful name brand coats I really liked. And I was surprised at the name brand mens clothes that were very cheaply priced. BUT when I went into the womens section I found the clothes tacky and cheap. It was like I stepped from macys and into ross. I don’t understand why the guys get fox and echo and we get cheap crap?

Great selections and great service. The have lots of selections and things to pick from there! Will I go back? EH YEAH! ~

Uh I think not. This store is super ghetto and is a complete mess. Clothes are scattered everywhere, packages open and staff that are clueless.

Btw the new checkout set up feels like a claustrophobic cattle line leading to the slaughter house in which the management hopes to snag some extra sales from the impulse buy corridor they’ve created while you wait in the excruciatingly long line! Bad idea.
But I did get a great deal on some silverware!

I absolutely aprieciate the style here. In winter time nothing but good quality boots and peacoats. Then in summer the best dresses and GLADIATORS.
I bought my formal dress here sophomore year (:
Theres no mess! People are tripping.
Its unique but not ghetto.
More good quality casual.
Plus they do lay a way.

Made my first and last trip here. Lots of clothes, colorful stuff. Have to be careful what I say here so will just say, NOT FOR ME! The prices were way out of line for the quality of items. Betcha could find better stuff in the SA store. Oh well I was curious, not any more. They have these stores in the Midwest also and they are much better there.
