Town of Plattekill Farmers Market

Perhaps reviewing a new farmers market at the way end of the season is not very fair. But at the same time it is important to get the Word out there that such things exist even if we find them later on than is ideal. The Town of Plattekill Farmers Market had just three vendors today but what they lacked in numbers, the lady selling apples and winter squash made up for in friendliness. The other vendors, they were all ladies today!, sold veggies and baked goods.
I think next year in fairer weather we will give them another go. And hopefully find lots of reasons to bump up the stars. There was nothing wrong with it but it was sparse. But wow, them apples were delish! $ 5 for half a peck of organic apples.
Thursdays 4 – 8 pm but they are done for the 2010 season very soon if not today.
