Wow some of the most flavorful Mexican food I’ve ever had! Huge portions! Can’t believe this place is in Mocksville! Ordered the California burrito, biggest burrito I’ve ever had too! If you like Mexican it’s worth the stop. Don’t let the«generic Mexican restaurant look» fool you, this food is anything but generic!

I Never thought I would find a place this good in Mocksville. I have eaten at many Mexican places across NC and the USA and this is by far my favorite. Huge portions with reasonable prices, and the best part is it’s delicious! Plus, the service is great. Not«authentic» Mexican food by any means, but they do Americanized Mexican food extremely well. I got the El Diablo burrito for lunch, it was much spicier than expected(which is fine by me), but I would definitely order it again. It could have fed two or maybe even 3 people for only $ 9.

We came with a group of friends. We showed up around 7:00 Saturday night and the place was packed and they said it would be a 20 min wait so we decided to stay. After waiting 30 minutes we were having second thoughts… Our friends said to stick it out because the was going to be worth it. Shortly after saying this a group of 12 came in and were seated with out a 5 minute wait… At the table that they said was for us! At that point we were going to leave but the owner told us that they had a table almost ready so we waited about 10 more minutes and then were seated. After waiting about 40 minutes. Service was quick but our waitress was acting very rushed. Up to this point I had been disappointed in it all but when the food came out it changed it all. This place honestly has the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! So long story short the food is amazing but everything else isn’t all that great.

First time eating here and it was very good! The service and people were great. The food was very tasty and the amount of food you got was well worth the money. Will make the short journey from Statesville to dine there again. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great meal here. California burrito was very good. House pitcher of margaritas was good. I’m so happy this place is here as I just moved to the area from Winston-Salem and the first Mexican restaurant I tried just north of here was terrible. This place is not much to look at, but food and service was great, and it’s clean. I gave it the fifth star cuz I’m so happy to have a good Mexican restaurant near my new home.

First few times I ate there we had great fast service last time we sat for ever before we got drinks and our food wasn’t as good as it had been before. Lunch service is much better I would say.

We had to walk out before even ordering. It took more than 10 minutes for them to notice we were waiting for a seat. And when we asked to sit in an area we preferred, the waiter rapidly responded with«we tell you were to sit». I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. Very horrible experience.

The best Mexican food in the area! From our first visit just days after opening the menu has expanded so much. My husband loves spicy food and he asked about a hotter salsa on the bar. It took a few trips but they did put some very good spicy salsa. The staff is always so friendly and service is always 100% !

My new favorite Mexican joint in the Triad(defined broadly to include Mocksville and DC). To start, they have a salsa bar(like Moe’s, but good) with 5 or 6 selections — tangy, sweet, hot, hotter. Note to owners: labels on the salsas would be great so we know what we’re getting. The portion sizes on everything are HUGE. I mean, unnecessarily HUGE. More than a normal person should eat — and I am larger than normal in my stomach region. I hope they pare back their portion sizes in the interest of public health and so they don’t go out of business for lack of profits. I had the carnitas at the recommendation of my server, who was a younger woman, but a very good server. They were delicious! Next time I go I will be torn between getting those again or eating my way around the menu. Apparently alot of restaurants have tried to make it in this spot. I hope Domingo’s is here for the long run.

Went in on a Saturday night and it was crowded but we got seated right away. Waitress was pleasant and friendly. I ordered the special which was a cheese steak burrito. My wife got the carne asada steak. Daughter 1 got a cheese quesadilla and daughter 2 went for the chicken nachos. Not a fan of the bean dip they serve with their chips. They do have a large salsa bar. I wish the salsas were labeled though so you can get what you want. The salsa I got was delicious. My burrito was HUMUNGOUS and just as delicious. I’m a big guy but could only eat half of it. The rice and beans are very flavorful as well. My wife’s steak was wonderful. Slightly charred but tender and juicy. My girls also enjoyed their meals. My youngest kept raving about her chicken nachos. This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in Davie county. All the others have food that tastes the same. Domingo’s is refreshing and unique. Give it a try. You’ll be glad you did.

It might have just been one of those nights judging by everyone else’s reviews, but our food/service was not good. I got a California Burrito which the portion size was HUGE! I don’t know how anyone could eat all of that. The beef inside of it tasted burnt and overall it just didn’t have much flavor. My wife got the fajitas, which is where we really had the issues. When the waitress brought it out it was smoking so bad that it literally made me choke up. My wife was fanning the smoke away. I know that getting fajitas they will still be sizzling some when they bring them out, but this was WAY overboard. My wife asked for another plate to put the stuff on so that it would stop cooking on the cast iron, but by the time it came out, her food was about 80% burnt. As we were eating, a male and female staff member were talking candidly about things when I heard the male staff member use the slang term«nigga.» The staff here appears young and inexperienced. I found out they had a salsa bar AFTER we had already left the restaurant. The server never mentioned it. I will say, though, that there was an owner or manager(not sure which) that when we were leaving saw that we were obviously not satisfied with our meal. And without us asking, he brought out a fresh plate of fajitas for my wife that were cooked perfectly. Although the fajitas she ordered had steak, shrimp, and chicken and only brought out steak and veggies. But then he only ended up charging us for the regular fajitas. We did appreciate that. We were only 1 of about 3 parties in the restaurant at the time. Restaurants like MI Pueblos and La Carreta can consistently put out good food even at their busiest times. My advice. …go there. We won’t be back to this place.

Really glad this place is so close. The food is great and the portions are huge considering the price. Salsa bar is awesome, but the bean dip they bring out isn’t always so good. The servers are super nice. It’s the best Mexican food in DC, but I’ll drive to Clemmons to Mi Pueblo for the best Mexican food around if I have time.

This is a diamond in the rough. The décor is nothing to write home about, but the food makes up for it! From the free salsa bar, where you can select many different flavors and heat levels, to the huge meal portions, this is really good. There are tons of Mexican restaurants in the area, and they are slightly above most. They will even make guacamole right at your table. Service was excellent. Will visit again!

I was blown away by the table made guacamole and the wonderful and large portions of very tasty food laid out for our table. The Carnitas(spicy) are to die for and the Burrito Ranchero could feed three hungry kids. Everything comes with a array of different hot and mild salsas, bean salsa and chips. Service was extremely good and even the chef popped out to inquire about the meal. A definite find

There is a new Mexican restaurant in Mocks Vegas. Domingo’s is in the same building as the old McDonalds, same shopping center as Peebles. Of course Domingo’s is the third(I think) Mexican restaurant that has tried to make it here. So I think Domingo’s may be here to stay. The menu is different from most Mexican restaurants around. You will not find the numbered combinations or the Speedy Gonzales like you do at the standard Mexican joints. The menu at Domingo’s trends more California. They still have tacos, burritos and taco salads but you will also find spicy green chile chicken flautas, covered in green chili sauce. I haven’t had green chile sauce since my trip to Arizona. Another difference is they have a salsa bar. Salsa bar? Why hell yeah! It’s a bar with like six different salsas for you to sample from. Just go to the bar, grab a container, and load it with the sauce you want to try. My only suggestion to the management is to list a heat index next to the salsas. One is labeled as kid friendly but the others have no heat index listed. The Good — Food is pretty good, at least the dishes I tried, and the portion sizes are large — Thumbs up on the Spicy Green Chili Chicken Flautas. This dish was damn good. — Thumbs up on the steak taco salad. Very large and very tasty — Salsa bar. Enough said. — Service was very good. The owner and/or manager came by several times to check on us. — Extensive adult drink menu. Tim man likes his beers and margaritas. — Daily food and drink specials. Tim man likes specials and saving money. — Price was very fair for the food and drinks. $ 29 for two entrees and two margaritas. The Meh(just letting you know that Tim man is no restaurant plant) — The refried beans and rice was meh. Rice was mushy(overcooked) — The complimentary dip they put on the table was bland. Kind of like a bean dip or something. — Margaritas were just okay. I don’t know why, but it is hard to find a great margarita at a Mexican joint. WTF is up with that? Overall, highly recommend.
