Tropical Smoothie Cafe

When you have kids and you want food (that they will eat) fast without having them eat fast food — this place is a great alternative. My whole family loves their pita pizzas and sandwiches. We also loooooooooooove the green smoothie which — now that I think about it — I’m going to grab one now. Great customer service and clean facilities!

I like coming to tropical smoothie in the early mornings cause they offer half off smoothies, I usually get the Island Green. It might sound a bit bitter but it’s really great and tasty! Try it out next time you’re there! You won’t regret it.

The young lady sounded agitated on the intercom (I went drive through) there are two Cars in front of me and I waited for about 15 mins. But once I got my smoothie it was well worth the wait and the Buffalo chicken good too!

I decided to stop here while I was in town. This location has really gone down. I ordered two smoothies and a wrap and they both were horrible.

By far, best smoothies in town. Shame though the employees do not seem to care. The owner’s awesome, but when he isn’t around, the customer experience definitely takes a toll. I usually try to go on my lunch break, therefore the drive thru is nice, but having my order the way I want is a hit and miss. The location at the legacy village shopping center seems to staff better so I am extremely happy when I am there, not so much the schillinger location, shame.

Let me start off by saying that the smoothies are great, and the food is good, albeit over a bit priced, WHEN they get it right. I’m not sure what has happened to this location over the past year or so, but it has gone way downhill. The staff no longer puts forth the the effort to ensure the customer enjoys the experience. From outward appearances, the folks they have working there are less than thrilled with the customer service aspect of their job, and more thrilled with gossiping with each other behind the glass and finishing their story before helping the next person.
I have given this place at least 6 chances, and (without exaggeration) all six times they have messed up my order. I’ve had to leave the office and drive back down there to get it fixed. It’s annoying and a time consuming. (I know some of you will say «check it before you leave» but really… Do you want to have to open up & pick through your food either in your car in the drive through or on the counter before you hurry back to work?) I will not be returning for quite some time.

Great smoothies at reasonable prices. Always running specials and they take the Baker Hornet card for BOGO. Kids love it. Real plus that it is locally owned and darn convenient!

Pretty good sandwiches, place is clean and staff is friendly. Wasn’t impressed with the smoothie I had but my wife says that isn’t how they usually are.

A great place for food you won’t feel bad about! They offer many healthy options, and I’ve never had a smoothie from here I wasn’t pleased with. This place is the best!

I’m a frequent-​flyer at this place, because the food is great, and the staff is wonderful. The manager (owner?), who is around often, is VERY good at making sure that customers are happy. Their smoothies are delicious, as are their sandwiches. (Don’t forget to try a chocolate chip cookie, too! They’re great!!)
The prices are a bit higher than you’d find at sub shops, but I think it’s OK, as the food and smoothies are worth it.
As stated, I come here a lot, and I plan to keep coming, as long as they keep making amazing wasabi roast beef sandwiches, soft cookies, and superb smoothies! (I recommend the Jetty Punch, the Beach Bum, or the York peppermint patty one they made around Christmas this year.)

Great food if you like sandwiches, smoothies or salads. So many options the location off Dauphin Street has some Medi Clinic options that I have tried as well. I visit a few times a week. Always fresh and the staff is always happy to offer solutions and sugar free option to all smoothies. Chicken Pesto/​Chicken Salad GREAT!!! Try it for yourself. I recently found out they give discounts for Planet Fitness members another plus!
