Rich’s Car Wash

It has been a few years since I have used Rich’s Car Wash. I live less than a mile away and typically just run to the gas station to clean my car myself. But today, I was riding with my mother who decided to stop for a car wash. We got «The Best» wash and paid an additional $ 5 for the four floor mats to be cleaned. Our total was around $ 25. We sat inside for roughly twenty minutes while we waited for our truck to be cleaned by at least three people. The outside of the truck looked so clean and shiny, I was impressed. Then the gentleman opened my door to let me get in.
The truck looked the same as before! The mats had not been cleaned. There was trash in the cup holders. There was dog hair on the seats. There was dirt on the doors. I mean, really? My mother picked up some rags and began cleaning. The employees had no problem going back and cleaning the mats as they originally should have. They even rewiped everything as we waited. But even after they rewiped, there was STILL dirt on the doors!
Please consider hiring employees who know how I clean a vehicle better than a two-​year old and please consider using products that actually make a difference on the surface of a vehicle. Now I remember why I haven’t been there in years. I will never go back again. In the words of the gentleman who cleaned our floor mats, «it’s highway robbery!».
