It was ok. The hurricane rolls were very good but I wasn’t impressed with the hibachi at all. The service was great though. It was over priced in my opinion.

Phenomenal restaurant and wait staff! Stopped here with some friends on our way to New Orleans and now Wishing we had a place this amazing back home. The best time we’ve ever had at a hibachi grill ever!

Went there past weekend and the food was great and the hibachi chef so entertained the customer. Will definitely go back again

Sushi craving fulfilled! Earthquake roll was delicious and filling fast service and they even serve a free fried cheesecake for birthdays. I wouldn’t pay for the cheesecake though it was clearly frozen on the inside. Friendly owners also.

My husband and I decided to check out Osaka to satisfy a hibachi craving we’d been having for, oh, about a year now. «Mainland-​style» hibachi is hard to come by on Oahu so we’d been looking forward to this for a long time!
The place was pretty empty, but it was around 5pm on Saturday night so I’m sure it picked up later in the evening (yeah yeah, we’re old!). We snagged a hibachi grill all to ourselves which is always nice and settled in for the meal.
Our soup and salads were brought out at the same time along with a complimentary cream cheese wonton appetizer which I thought was a delicious and nice touch. The salad had that wonderful creamy ginger dressing and the soup was loaded with green onions, mushrooms, and fried onions. They were both very good!
My husband ordered the teriyaki chicken and I got the salmon and shrimp combo. The prices seemed perfect to us, but then again, we’re used to paying $ 30+ each for this kind of dish in Waikiki so all the prices seemed excellent lol. Our chef was very personable and nice and put on a great show for us. The food was cooked perfectly and we both enjoyed our entrees, fried rice, and veggies so much!
My only complaint would be that service was a bit slow in getting our dishes cleared out, drinks refilled, etc., but I am more than willing to keep going back based on our night. If this place stays awesome I’m hoping it becomes our #1 hibachi restaurant in Mobile!

Their sushi seriously melts in your mouth. So delicious! You can tell it is fresh too! I love sushi and this is one of the best places to get sushi! Their hibachi is okay. It’s really small… we got their lunch hibachi but it was still small!

I love sushi and I usually eat everything I order but this time I had to leave some because it was bad. I ordered Dynamite roll and Tuna sachimi, both were bad. The tuna had an after taste and the Dynamite roll was greasy and the cream cheese in it was overpowering.

One of the few cuisines we hadn’t sampled yet in Mobile was the sushi. Unilocal to the rescue, as always. We both enjoyed the sushi here very much. I had the plain ol’ spicy tuna roll, and my husband has had a few of their specialty rolls. The seaweed salad is also very good. They serve their alcoholic drinks in the cutest cups– my mai tai was in a pineapple with a lid! So cute.
We’ve been twice now and enjoyed the food both times. Service was a little slow tonight — not sure if it was because it was Tuesday, or if the waitress was new.

Ok, I’m sitting here at the table eating and I’m astounded at how good the sushi is! Maybe it was a preconception of this place but it is, in fact, very very good! The service is excellent and is very prompt and polite. I can’t speak for the hibachi however but I can assume that it is also excellent

I returned again, have placed a photo of the sushi up and it was very good again. Very consistent.
