I’ve been here twice, first time for an unfortunate incident when a Flying Scot decided to tack to port in front of me right at the start of a race, and second time for a strange set of chips on my boat bottom that needed to be repaired. I ended up getting my bottom filled and faired the second time.
Donnie and Tom do a great job. I was really impressed with the first repair, as Tom managed to match my weird gel coat color well enough that I need to point out the repair to others for them even to notice. I think that if you are a one design racer and live withing a 6 hour drive, there is no doubt who you need to take your boat to for hull repair. Many members of our sailing club come here for their boat repair needs, and there is no doubt that boats are faster after visiting Donnie and Tom.
