My car was broken into 3 times in the course of one year. The apartment had a lot of issues although they did fix them on time . You can not hang anything on the walls. The outlets are only 2 prong, so I needed an adapter for nearly every outlet. The internet was incredibly slow when it did work. You can clearly here the neighbors conversations when you’re in the bathroom. There is a terrible chemical smell from a nearby business when you step outside. It kinda smells like sulfur. I was surprised when I didn’t smell it. There is a train that goes by several times a day and blows it’s whistle, which is very loud, before crossing Daphne Street. You see daylight underneath the front door. During the record freeze our heater did not work so we froze in our apartment. When the lease was up they would not send me my half of the deposit instead sent the check to my ex girlfriend who kept it, because it’s a rule of theirs. Is that even legal? I would never live here again and am glad to have moved out.

Location aint bad, but the complex is OLD and the carpet in my buds unit when he moved in had the famous wet car carpet(pancake syrup) smell to it that NOONE wants in their home or vehicle. And insulation doesnt exist. His neighbor in his apartment told me his electric bill runs over $ 450 a month during the summer!

The Good: Decent apartments in a very convenient location. I like that when I come home there are often dads out playing with the kids. Many of my neighbors know each other. Pretty fast maintenance. Some apartments have really good parking. Some units have no limited parking and the whole area floods Looks a little sketchy but most of the neighbors are gone to work by 9:00 am. The Bad No garbage disposal. I hate that. The walls are pretty grotty. They are really banged up and poorly repaired. If you are the kind of person who likes to hang art or have your apartment look a certain way you won’t like this place at all. With thin walls you can definitely hear neighbors. Mine are quiet so it isn’t so bad. But you could easily have loud neighbors. No upstairs neighbors which helps a lot. Doors and windows don’t quite fit into their frames as well as they should. Close but not quite. Most outlets are not grounded which is a pain if you want to plug your computer in. Make sure that if you want to use one of the upstairs bedrooms as an office, that you get grounded plugs. You can hear the train go by all night long. The Ugly: Long complex application process. The dickered around quite a bit. Wanted to talk to everyone I’d ever known. Some extra $ 100 fees show up at the end. Don’t really trust the two office managers. My neighbors appear to be raising pitbulls. There’s a lot of barking.
