I would give this hotel zero stars but unfortunately that wasn’t the option. The hotel staff including the manager was extremely rude. The had these blow dryers on the floor and the floors were extremely wet and the smell was awful. I have a daughter that has a disability and with her epilepsy the smell was so bad it made her have another seizure. I made them aware of this with no concern to them. They just said were sorry we can’t help you. Let me say I work at a hotel and we do not treat our customers this way what so ever. Customer always gets what they want. I emailed the manager and her responce was I’m sorry I can’t help any further. I’m very dissapointed in the comfort Inn. Do not stay here as the rooms stunk and they also will double charge you for the rooms.

I stayed here on a 5-day trip to Mobile. It is located conveniently right off I-65(from either exit 3 or 4; it’s on the service road between the two exits). While this budget hotel looks a little disconcerting on the outside, the amenities that you receive are definitely worth the money. Thus, you should not be afraid to stay here. The room, which contained a king-sized bed, a sofa bed and all expected hotel room amenities, plus a refrigerator and microwave, was quite adequate. Both beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. There were no dust bunnies, ripped wallpaper or torn carpet in the room(yeah!). The free breakfast offered hot and cold dishes. Of the hot entre’s, there were two types(original and blueberry) of waffles, pork sausages, eggs and toast. Cereal, muffins, pastries, yogurt, milk and juices rounded out the cold entre’s. Because my stay was over a holiday weekend, 3 of the 4 mornings were so crowded that the staff person had a difficult time keeping everything stocked; however, the wait was never a long one. The breakfast area was recently renovated and included regular-height tables and bar-height tables. The breakfast eating area overlooked the lobby, which included a flatscreen TV and a koi pond with fish and a few turtles. The outdoor pool was cleaned and prepared for use in less than a day. Though, with all the nice amenities, there were just a few annoyances. 1. There were two outside doors on each end at the back of the building. The outside door that was locked, would not acknowledge room keys and unlock. But that really did not matter because the other door was always unlocked. Other than the lack of security, this only inconvenienced me because my room was by the locked door. 2. My door did not have a «do not disturb» sign and housekeeping never supplied one, so I had to make my own. 3. The fitness center had three large pieces of equipment: a treadmill, an eliptical machine and a bowflex. All were inept, but not quite broken. The treadmill belt tension was not consistent, the eliptical screeched loudly with every movement and the bowflex bench was not attached to its pad. Either way, I could not get a decent workout in the fitness center.
Overall, even with the annoyances, this hotel is a good place to stay for the money. It is being renovated(lobby, breakfast area, outside curb appeal and rooms) and will be a really wonderful place once the renovations are complete.

Don’t judge the book by its cover. Outside is little shady and right by the highway. But the interiors are clean and looks like new and renovated with free wifi. They had hot breakfast which is tasty. Buys more than you pay! Definitely recommend for your night haul. Note: A little noisy being next to the highway. Stomping and slamming doors by the neighbors was irritating(guess it’s the thin walls) Otherwise very good experience.

This was a very well fixed up older hotel that got a face lift that I’m sure was very much needed. However, for the most part our stay was great and the people were all very nice. I’d recommend to others and I would definitely stay here again.

On the road traveling, good place to rest my eyes for the night. Staff friendly. Clean room, bathroom clean. Shower had hot water. Quiet room. Plenty of parking. Decent breakfast. Easy access from major highway. No problems checking in or at checkout. Would stay again if I was tired in Mobile, Alabama & on the road. Close to fast food & restaurants.

We travel a lot as a military family and this was a top notch hotel. The staff is super friendly. The complimentary breakfast is delicious, great variety, and well stocked… And super clean! The rooms are well maintained with updated bathrooms, shower heads, and mattresses. The cleaning crew comes at convienent times and clean thoroughly. There is no restaurant, but they do supply delivery menus and vending machines. It was nice to see staff take pride in all they do. I will def. Be staying here again!
