I can hardly believe this hospital can keep its doors open. The nursing staff in the ER could absolutely not be any more rude or less sympathetic. What is the problem here? Are they that unhappyv and underpaid? Are there not any other people to hire in the area who have better bedside manners. And let’s not even talk about the infamous care you will receive if you actually have to go here for medical treatment. My father in law was just taken to the ER with terribly high blood pressure. There was no-one taking care of him after he was checked into the ER. His blood pressure shot up to 217⁄132 which is stroke material but not one nurse came into his room during the spike. No one was monitoring his blood pressure at all. We watched in shock wondering when someone would come to check on him. He could have had a stroke right in front of us. If you can make it to Columbia, don’t hesitate if you want to live thru the day.
