Very impressed. I am very picky about my Mexican food being originally from So Cal… Have eaten here twice and was pleasantly surprised both times.

My favorite spot to eat in Moapa Valley. Love the chips, mild salsa, and bean dip. When I walk in the wait staff knows what I want to drink. We have tried most items on the menu. If you like seafood and spice I recommend the shrimp stuffed chills, on the milder side the enchiladas suizas are really good. I don’t think we have ordered anything from the menu that we didn’t like. It has a laid back atmosphere and friendly wait staff.

I’m giving this location 4 stars not because the food is cosmically good, but because the overall experience is good. A great place to eat if you live here, are in town exploring or passing through. The food is tasty and is reasonably priced. The service is consistent and the margaritas are good. It’s not wise to expect best authentic Mexican food but you can definitely be fed well and enjoy yourself and not overpay. Quick, easy, and convenient.

We love this place, delicious food. Overton is a better place with this restaurant here, good chips and salsa.

Super yummy food and friendly service! So glad they decided to open in Overton! We visit their Mesquite location often and are glad to have them now as a local option. Very clean and nicely decorated! Highly recommended!

Will I came here last week with my brother and parents for my birthday after reading comments about how good the food is but the true is the food was awful my parents ordered the fajitas and the chicken and beef had nothing of flavor not even the peppers had nothing of flavor my parents had to had salt to it. My little brother ordered the chicken tenders but it wasn’t even chicken tenders as the menu said it was chicken nuggets were anyone could get from the store. Then I ordered the chicken and beef enchiladas plate and the sauce that was top with tasted from a can sauce and again the beef and chicken had nothing of flavor. I gave it a 2 star because the customer service was really good they always had our drinks full. Save yourself some money and just head to McDonald’s because there’s isn’t much restaurants in this small town. I feel sorry for the people who commented on how good the food is as they probably never had great Mexican food in their life.

I am amazed the menu available in such a small town. Four us had dinner, each something different. Definately good, a little different in a good way. Service was excellent. This will definately benefit the community.

While visiting my mother back in my hometown, I was excited to see that a new place had opened up to bring some life to an otherwise pretty dead restaurant scene in Overton. While I was a little hesitant to try La Fonda, it surely did not disappoint! The restaurant has a very mom and pop shop feel and the service was outstanding. I figured I was going to be pretty satisfied when the first test was passed, the chips and salsa. Any great Mexican restaurant is supported by great chips and salsa and I was impressed by the offerings at La Fonda. The chips were fresh and warm, not greasy, and clearly homemade. Two salsas, one mild and one hot, were served and I enjoyed both(though I practically drank through several bowls of the ‘hot’ variety). For food, I ordered a lunch special recommended by our waiter, the zapatas(I think this was the name, it was two steak burritos, #7 on the lunch menu). First of all, the portions are HUGE! My meal was flavorful and delicious, especially the accompanying pinto beans. Others at the table ordered the taco salad and a taco/enchilada combo plate and all were very happy. Bottom line, I am pretty stoked about La Fonda now being in Overton. I look forward to checking out more of the menu(especially the breakfast!) and really hope the place doesn’t go under like so many attempts at business in Overton do.
