This place should not be open for business. They do not know what they are doing and it was the worse experience I ever had. If you are thinking about coming here, don’t don’t don’t!!! I wanted to leave midway through my pedicure but I didn’t want to be rude. In retrospect, I should have been rude. If I have to tell someone how to give me a basic pedicure they shouldn’t be in this business. On the first try, it looked like a 5 year old did my feet. The paint was crooked and not neat. The second lady who repainted my nails and completed my pedicure was a lot better, but it still was not great. Save yourself the time and trouble. I see the company renamed the place under PL Nails & Spa and PL Nails & Spa 2. I will make sure I give the same bad review because it is the same place.

Before today, I would have rated this business higher, but our experience today was not good. To celebrate my mom’s birthday that day I called to see if they would have 3 people available to take my mom, myself and my daughter at 10:30. It was also my daughters first pedicure and I thought it would be fun for her bc they have little princess chairs. They said yes, so we get there at 10:30 and have to wait 10 minutes. Not too big a deal, but then they put us in the chairs and they didn’t put us near my daughter for some reason and they left us in the chairs with our feet soaking for almost 30 minutes. And my poor daughter had to sit there for 45 minutes before they had someone tend to her. She’s five years old. Seriously? And no apologies were made or discounts given. It was almost 1:00 when we left – 2.5 hours to get a basic pedicure. I Do not recommend this place.

Please don’t waste your time or money… This is the 2nd time I had to go back because my gel/dipping mani chipped the next day or same day! Both time the re-did them

Thirty minute wait and we made appointments the day before. So far I am not impressed. Not enough employees here.

I really really like this place. I am really picky about pedicures and this is one of the best ones I have ever had and it lasted for WEEKS. And for $ 26 you get what would normally cost 40 plus at other places. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the tech’s name but she was awesome. The regular pedicure is so through that I was concerned they were giving me the more expensive service. It was awesome. Hot towel wrap, sea salt scrub, hot stone massage, paraffin wax treatment, polish, etc for $ 26. The setting is decorated with nice earth tones, no harsh lighting or movies blaring loudly from TVs which is important to me. I abhor going to relax and get my nails done and end up at a place that is as bright as a supermarket and as plain as an ER waiting room. :-(. I really enjoyed my experience. I am back in town and def. plan on stopping by before I leave. **Please note I was a walk in client.

Mediocre service. When it’s crowded, expect poor quality mani and pedi. Very inconsistent quality from one visit to the next. They focus on their more expensive salon that’s in the same strip center. Good thing is: nail shops are a dime a dozen and it’s easy to move on to a better shop.

If there we’re negative stars I would give it a negative 1. I came here as a last minute resort before my trip out of town tomorrow. My normal sapa is a ways from where I live so I thought I’d try out something close to home. The lady who did my nails was very rude and aggressive. The normal foreign chatter would happen and hardly any attention on any of the clients. Just the employees gossiping and laughing amongst each other. I got my pedicure done by a lady with short bangs and glasses. As she pushed my cuticles and trimmed she was too aggressive and botched my skin a bit. Then she proceeded to «massage» me with hot stones. One of the stones was way to hot that it burned my skin a bit, so I flinched and the stone slipped from her hand onto the floor, and instead of apologizing like a normal person, she rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth in irritation towards me. It wasn’t until she poured another substance on my foot that I realized she had punctured one of my toes while cutting and it burned sooooo bad! I’m never ever in this much pain when I go to my regular salon-beauty envy. Other than the pain she was very sloppy, careless and rude. I don’t think any one should ever have to feel like this at a «spa» I’m surely never to return here.

This was the worst manicure/pedicaure I have had in my life. I was given a gift card here, so I used it and both the technicians who did my manicure and pedicure did an awful job — she trimmed my cuticles too deep in one area causing bleeding and not enough in other areas. They also thinned out the polish with polish remover which gave a terrible effect to the application. A mani/pedi is hard to mess up but they managed to do so. I would never go back here even if it were free. Overall my experience was VERY lackluster.

I would have given them four or five stars, but the manicurist Angie did a horrible job. She does not listen when you tell her something and she does a rushed job. I explained that I have lots of cuticle on my hands, she proceeded to do the biggest no no. She barely did any pushing back and she just clipped my skin around my nails. I looked at my nails while I was still in chair not happy that I could still see cuticle flat against my nails. She also nipped my thumb, and barely said sorry. I don’t get color on my nails, just buff. Thought she was going to go back and try to remove more cuticle, no, she just buffed my nails. Guess she figured I wouldn’t know any better. Yes if you do this the nail will look good that day… but after that you end up with lots of painful hangnails and the ugly cuticle still on your nails. I told her I would end up with hangnails, no response. If my review was just on her it would have been 1 star. Now my pedicure and eyebrow arch was excellent. Helen did my pedicure and she listened to me when I expressed concerns about a couple of my toes(ingrows). She took her time and was very pleasant to have working on my feet. She is also very funny. I would definitely go back to her. Tina did my eyebrows and once again she listened when I explained how I wanted my brows. I am a 40 year old woman and have been getting my hands and feet done since I was a teenager, when I explain something to a manicurist I’m not just talking to hear myself speak. I also know that clipping off the skin around my nails is not the same as taking away cuticle around my nails. DON’T LETANGIEDOYOURMANICURE!!!

My cousin recommended this place to me and I went for a pedicure and full set — the regular pedicure is AMAZING!!! hot stone massage, hot wax and hot towels on your legs — heaven! for $ 26!!! I was not, however, impressed with the full set and actually now go back to my old nail shop for my hands, but I am always going to this place for my pedicures!

I am super picky when it comes to nail places, and up until now I could not find a place in Missouri City that I truly loved. Then I found PL Nails & Spa II. The salon is clean which is extremely important. They have a huge selection of nail colors that are new(not old and separated and diluted). The regular spa pedicure is really impressive and a great value. It includes a foot and lower leg rub and a hot rock massage, paraffin wax dip and beautiful polish application. My toes lasted 3 weeks! Definitely my new favorite place. ***NOTE: they won’t let you put a tip on your cc so bring cash for that.
