This location sucks. Went here when once at night the inside was so dark. So creepy. Took WAY long to get my own order. I hate that. The employees is so eh. It sucks so much, I’m not going back. Ever.

This was by far the slowest fast food experience I have ever experienced. It took literally 15 minutes at the window in the drive thru just for 4 burgers. There was a long line of cars behind me getting inpatient at me. There was the teller who had nothing to do while he was just waiting for the burger maker to finish one of my burgers. You just walk back and forth standing there waiting for my burger to be finished. Then he said there was no more catch up because they never got their delivery. How can a fast food restaurant run out of ketchup? Can’t you store ketchup for like a year? Inconceivable how the owner of this restaurant can run it this way and not even have ketchup. How are you supposed to eat your fries without ketchup? Then when I got home and I open my bag I realize that he forgot to put in my criss cut fries! If you’re waiting 15 minutes more the burger man to finish making 1 burger, could you check that the order was correct? Obviously not! I waited extra long, didn’t get catch up, and got charge for fried that I never received. I hope management will do something to improve the store. Work inside, and please train your employees better!

I went through the drive thru and enjoyed the friendliness of the cashier, so 1 star for that. However, I will NEVER return. I am big… BIG on customer service, so know that for me to say NEVER returning in spite of the drive through customer service is a testimony on just how bad the food was. I drove through about 7:30PM on a Tuesday night. My children had cheeseburger kids’ meals(you know burger, fries and a toy). No toy! I have to go back to pick up the toy on another day. Where I live in Sienna, any fast food restaurant is about 30 minutes round trip, so I’m not about to do that trip again for toys! Didn’t the bags feel light when you picked them up to put the burger and fries in the bag!!! Hubby and I had the chicken strips with onion rings. Those chicken strips were so dry, they clearly had been there for a while. Maybe they stopped frying chicken strips for the night about 5pm for rush hour traffic. The onion rings were dry and nasty. The french fries were not even warm! Yeah, after going get the toys for the happy meals, I’m never visiting again!

Great burgers and decent fries. The bathrooms are filthy and have just about no amenities, but the rest of the inside is clean. It’s definitely one of the best fast food reataraunt around.

$ 7.50 for a greasy hamburger combo and the fries were not even warm. I mean come on man. How hard is it to keep your fries warm? The burger was saturated with mayo and the wrapper was covered in grease on the outside of the wrapper. The outside? How does that even happen? I think Carl and junior both need to go back to Fast food training. Not even close to a do over at this place.

Totally tasteless cheeseburger. Wet lettuce, cheese not melted, and onions tough. It was obvious that the meat had been cooked earlier. Won’t return here. Way overrated. Obviously management isn’t supervising these kids.

Bacon biscuits are awesome !! Everything else is meh and I mean meh. What’s really bad here are the drinks. Terrible tea and even worse coffee. Wish the food was served hot but it never is. The fries are yuck

I had the worst experience here. I ordered a salad through the drive-through and they asked me to pull over to the side. I noticed that 3 other cars were pulled over as well. The next 20 minutes was hell. 3 different times the employees brought me the wrong food. When I finally got my salad he said that they didn’t have any dressing. Are you kidding me? I wish that they had told me that before, I wouldn’t have ordered the salad. The salad was old looking. I wish I got my money back. I never will go back.

For the first time ever in Texas, I’ve tried a Teriyaki(regular sized) and Jim Beam Bourbon(6-dollar) burgers, of which both are pretty delicious, with juicy patties and ample amount of sauce! Loves the garlic onion straws inside the Jim Beam Bourbon and the whole slice of grilled pineapple inside the Teriyaki! yummmm. However, the chili cheese fries is kinda meh… Totally NOT enough chili on the fries and the whole thing just tastes bland. Price is alright; not cheap, but acceptable. Anyways, I will go back for sure because 1) I live nearby this location, and 2) I wanna try the double western bacon cheeseburger! teeheee~

So I finally got around to giving the infamous Carls Jr. a try. It was a Thursday night and walking out of the gym, neither me or the wife wanted to cook and she suggested(I use the term«suggested» loosely, it was a little more forceful than that) we go to Carls. I went ahead and made the best of a bad post-gym decision and got the Jalapeño Turkey burger. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t pretty impressed by this. The patty actually wasn’t dry as sand paper like the other 3 turkey burgers I’ve had from higher on the totem restaurants, the jalapenos were abundant and each bite was packed full of spicy healthy goodness. If I’m on the go, I’ll definitely be back for this, I’m curious about their other turkey burger options but I’d rather not stray from a tried and true find. At 470 calories, it’s not a bad fast food option either.

The best Carl’s are in small towns in the middle of nowhere between cities, but this one is fair. My sausage breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the drive thru lady was sugar sweet and I wanted to hug her. Great customer service, food was fair.

Randomly decided to get some food from here and my husband and I were VERY pleased and surprised by how good it was! I got the spicy chicken sandwich meal and he got some bacon burger. I can’t speak for his burger(though it said it was one of the best he’s had!) but my sandwich was so tender & moist and tasted so so good. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because of the customer service. We ordered at the drive-thru and when we pulled in to the window to pay, the lady said our total was $ 4(and some cents). My husband asked her if she was sure and she said ‘yes’. He then reminded her that we had 2 meals and she said ‘hold on let me check’. A few minutes later she comes back and says that ‘he(guy taking the order) put it in wrong’ and goes to retreive what we ordered. It wasn’t too bad but it would have been if we didn’t notice!

Best chain restaurant burger Ive had in awhile. I use to think smashburger had the best burgers, BUT not after I tasted the massive mass of a Carl Jr. the bag felt like a rock when the employee gave it to me! The price for the burger was a whole lot better than smashburger and other chain restaurants. I probably would have gotten full with a kids burger. Meat is seasoned just right with not too much salt nor dripping with grease. The fries are crispy and not oversalted – it actually taste like it came from a potato! Will be back!

I haven’t typed a review in a while, but this restaurant deserves one. This place was amazing. Emphasis on was. When it first opened, it was packed. There were employees cleaning up the place and greeting you. The food was great, and there were little to no flaws in service. It was a great place to go if you were craving burgers. However, the place is terrible now. It seemed the same when I went in 2 days ago. Different employees, it seemed. My aunt ordered the tenders, my mom the salad, and my uncle the avocado burger. I got the Big Carl. Being a previous lactose intolerant, my taste buds do not take most dairy products very well. The burger came with cheese, even when I said without. The avocado burger’s buns were double toasted. I’m pretty sure that my uncle did not order a rock. Sadly, that’s what he got. My aunt’s fries were stale, and my mom’s greens were wilted and probably prepared the day before. Needless to say, I’m not coming back.

Yuck. Really? I’d rather not eat. I’d heard so much about Carl’s Jr since they made their way to the greater Houston area. I figured it was just hype, but a friend who I trust(psst… Warren, you reading this?) told me that Carl’s Jr was where he’d go if he had to eat fast food. So, I gave this place a chance. I wish I hadn’t. We arrived and walked in to an arctic blast of AC. I know it’s really hot outside, but it doesn’t need to be icy cold inside. I walked up and felt pressured to order. They kept asking us what we wanted even though no one was in line behind us. Talk about rushing people. Our food did come out fast, really fast. I got the chicken club which comes with cheese and bacon. It was very blah. I wouldn’t ever get it again. It just wasn’t very good. My husband got the turkey burger. He took one bite and it was pink inside. He doesn’t like to make a scene, but he did bring it back up. They said he wouldn’t get sick because the meat is all precooked. Lovely. Well, the pre-cooking didn’t do its job. So they made him another turkey burger. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. It’s a bit off putting to have been given raw turkey to begin with. As my husband said«they must have nuked it longer». The fries were the old saving grace. We liked both the regular fries and the criss-cut fries. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, but I won’t be back. The burgers were yucky and not worth my time or money. And Carl, stop hiding your ketchup behind the counter!

BARF! I have no clue what the rave was for this place. I understand the whole west coast thing but please keep it in the West coast. I had chicken here that had no flavor and too much breading. The fries were cold and tasted like something from jack in the box. I had a taste of the burger and that too had no flavor. I am not a go getter for fast food and this place validates why.

Nom nom nom Let’s get a few things about me out of the way: I grew up in Arizona and frequently visited California in the summer. Where I’m from, everything from California must be better. Carl’s Jr. is from Southern California, so it was a big deal to eat there when we’d visit, and it was a fairly big deal when they came to AZ back in the day. See also In-N-Out. So I’m walking into this place with a fairly big bias: these burgers remind me of my childhood. They did not disappoint. You see, out west they don’t put mustard on a burger. If you order a Famous Star, you will get mayo on your burger. That’s just the way it is. It’s still greasy, oozy, and full of char-broiled flavor, just as a good burger should be. My fave is still the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Bun. BBQ sauce. 2 large crunchy onion rings(not the mushy little rings that some other chains serve), American cheese, 2 strips of bacon, and tasty beef.(and about that bacon: it appears to have been done on a griddle and not from a bag of pre-cooked strips) One more thing about the menu: there’s two types of burgers — Carl’s Classics and the Six Dollar Burgers. The Classics are the ones I grew up with. In recent years, they added the«Six Dollar Burger»(a burger with a thicker patty, larger bun, and more thickly sliced condiments; it’s supposed to be a burger you’d pay six bucks for in a fancy joint but only $ 4 at Carl’s) and now most of the classics come in a «six dollar» version with more meat and more stuff and still not costing $ 6. Don’t go here for your health. This is decadent fast food, and the calorie counts are high. I can feel my arteries clog after eating a Breakfast Burger(scrambled eggs, hash browns, ketchup, and a burger patty on a bun) but it does make you feel all warm inside. Welcome to the neighborhood, Carl’s Jr. I’ve missed you. Between Carl’s Jr., Bricks across the street and Tornado Burger down 1092, I could have a burger every day on the way home from work and never get bored.
