Great neighborhood liquor store — my go-​to when I don’t want to go too far from home.
The staff has always been friendly and the selection of both beer and liquor is good. Yes, the prices are usually higher than in MO, but it’s KS and there’s little that can be done about that.
All-​in-​all, great place with plenty of booze … what else do you need?

This has become my go-​to store for beer and wine. I live nearby, and find the prices are competitive with big box stores. Selection is good, great variety of craft beers and well-​rated wines. The owner is always very friendly and remembers me when I show up (even though I stop in maybe once a month).

I am really surprised by the two 1 star reviews.
I live within walking distance of Grand Liquor. I have walked down there for extras when a game has driven me to drink too many beers. Even when slightly inebriated I have been treated well; especially by the woman in question in the other reviews.
This is definitely the Kansas liquor store I go to the most. The prices are competitive and they do have a good selection of beer.
Again, I haven’t received anything but great customer service from all the people who work at Grand Liquor.

This is one of the few liquor stores in town that I will go out of my way for. It is pretty close to my house so I don’t find myself going out of my way very often.
They have a real good beer selection for a store it’s size. You can always find most varieties of Rogue or Avery or other really good beers. It’s a little short on the supply of six packs and not all the beer displayed is cold. That’s not a real big deal to me, but something to note if you’re looking for cold beer to go to a cookout or a tailgating party.
On Mondays they have 10% off specialty beers which means the big liter bottles of Rogue and Avery or 4 pack beers. On Tuesdays they have a wine special of 13% off wines. From what I’ve seen they also have a pretty good wine selection.
Their prices are right in line with other liquor stores and the service is a mix of funky and nice. Not much to complain about here and much to praise.
