Disappointing — only location left in the valley and they don’t honor text promotions. Was told they needed a scan bar. I told them it was a text and the guy showed me a coupon he had. What’s the use of having the signs with number to text for offers if not participating? Not going back. Fakers.

The beans and bread are great… but the brisket is average. But you get what you pay for.

I thought the food was decent. I had the 2 meat meal with sliced brisket and ribs. Both meats were not the best I have ever had but after smothering it with their spicy BBQ sauce it made the difference. Only negative I could think of is that they could have included a bit more meat for a $ 10 meal.

I think Dickeys is pretty good. I wouldn’t say it the best BBQ I’ve ever had but is good and it’s a good deal. I always get the two meat plate for about $ 10. I always get the sliced brisket and either pork ribs or smoked turkey. For sides I will get Mac and Cheese or Potato Salad, and BBQ Beans. Their spicy BBQ sauce is great which I add to the beans as well. You also get a free drink(16oz) and a self serve ice cream cone.

While I understand the need for chain restaurants, I just cannot believe the level of care taken by Dickey’s BBQ in selecting their product. Bad sausage in Texas is inexcusable. Would it hurt to actually season the meats and use real wood? And stop calling the beans«jalapeño», I tasted zero spice. Come on guys, get in the game, for goodness sake this is Texas, show some pride in your Q!
