The Salon

I get my hair cut by Christine, she’s diligent with scheduling so I come in right on time and get out right on time. She’s energetic and personable which is nice to see. Other places I’ve been to have quiet people and it’s impersonal, I enjoy getting my hair cut here.
The staff here are ALL super friendly, the music is nice, and the salon as a whole is well kept.

Two years ago I was a walk in and had medium to long hair and asked the stylist at the salon for a reddish brown color a-​line. She blew my breath away along with my expectations. She transformed me into a confident woman and now, two years later, I came back to the salon requesting a blonde ombré on my now medium length hair to the owner of the salon with a picture and she literally made magic and gave me literally what I dreamt my hair could look like. Not only that, but she actually told me about how much I would be paying for the style BEFOREHAND instead of being surprised at the end. She made me laugh the whole time and even took the time to style my hair making me feel like I actually came from the salon for once. I have tried so many places and drove 30 miles just to go to the salon. The only place I actually don’t feel anxiety when going to get my hair done ! Loved every second.

I’m incredibly picky when it comes to who touches my hair but Christine puts me at ease every time I see her.
My entire family has been going to her for years, including our extended family from another state.
She understands my obsession with my hair and by the time I leave the chair I feel rejuvenated and ready to take on the world. Anytime someone asks for a hair referral she’s always my go-​to. I would highly recommend every time! :-)

The Salon is a very chic, quaint and professional place for your hair and nail
care. For the past 13 yrs., I have followed Rick Hohmann from 3 hair salons to get my hair cut, colored and highlighted. He is an AMAZINGLY talented stylist and he has a lot of expertise! He genuinely cares about his clients and he really listens to you. I can guarantee you that you won’t be disappointed! In fact, quite the contrary!
I can assure you that you will be in the very best of hands!

Just moved back to California for the summer after college and wanted to try out a new hair cut, but didn’t know where to go. After looking up some different places on Unilocal I decided to give The Salon a try… and I am so happy that I did! I called the salon and asked for an appointment on that same day and they were able to fit me in which was great! My stylist was Rick… I would totally recommend him. He has lots of experience and nailed my hair cut and color. For someone who is very critical of the way my hair looks… I thought he did a wonderful job. Great experience overall and I love my new hair cut and color :)

What a great experience. Not only are these ladies talented but they are caring too. I called in the morning and the owner fit me and my recently disabled mother in. The experience while we were there just got better and better. It’s rare to meet people who care about others but her I found a salon of them. This was definitely what my mom needed to brighten get spirits. Thank you ladies.

This salon differs from others as it gives a different feel. It’s very quaint, homey and extremely relaxing. Every stylist there is friendly and honest. I’ve been seeing Tess for years now and she never disappoints. From cuts and color to blow drys and styles I always walk out with a huge smile on my face. If you are in need of a new salon give The Salon a try!

Had a Groupon with Cassidy. She was great! Showed her a picture of what I wanted to do with my cut and she did a fabulous job. Awesome job on my highlights too. Have gotten so many compliments already. Will definitely be back to see her and hope to send some of my friends her way.

About a year ago I moved to South County and was in search of a new hairstylist. The moment I tried The Salon my life was changed. Everyone is so sweet and friendly. They never push you on anything you don’t want. I have been going to Tess for a year now and she is amazing!!! She always gives me an honest opinion and knows exactly what would look best for me. Today I said I want change. Tess knew exactly what to do, she added side bangs and highlights. I’m in LOVE with my new style. I recommend The Salon to everyone, they go above and beyond to make you feel beautiful.

Cassidy has been doing my hair for a couple years now, she does a great job and the atmosphere is great. I recommend this place strongly.

Rick did an amazing job with my color and cut! I made a huge change– I went from long blond hair to a short angled cut with a mahogany-​reddish color. It looks amazing and I couldn’t be happier. Will definitely go back!

I got my haircut by Christine and she did a great job. She also colored my wifes hair and it looked hot. She is knowledgable about products and technique and can get the best out of what you have.

I LOVE this place! I was initially drawn here by the amazing woman that does my hair (Kelly). Seems I’ve followed her everywhere, but this place is it!
The place itself, is as cute and sophisticated as it comes… if those two things are even possible together. It’s so clean and so well put together, from the decorations on the inside, to the up kept landscaping on the outside. And of course, the women that work in there… might possibly be the funniest group of women that ever did hair.
From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by Tess’ lovely mother, I believe she’s the office manager, but could be wrong. And you’re always noticed… by everyone. No matter who does your hair, everyone in the place is going to see it. You become their work of art… and they always display their creations before they let you leave.
Most of the time I walk in with no idea of what I want done to my hair, but I never leave disappointed. NEVER!
Definitely an awesome place, and an amazing group of artists!
Don’t forget to ring the bell on the front desk before you leave if you’re yet another satisfied client!
