Called for an appointment nurse asked about my insurance(of course) explained I had PPO insurance to cover all expenses. Explained I had a pinched nerve in my neck where I can barely move my arm and was in agony. Nurse said she was so sorry to hear that and that first new patient appointment could be scheduled for early August… SERIOUSLY! So I guess all your new patients just come in with ailments that can wait for like 2 – 3 months to be seen… Too much! You’re either the most amazing Neurologist in the world or on your way out of business.

one star is too much!!! Hi saw Dr. Ludema in 2010. I went to him because I was always having trouble with my neck Ever since my car accident that was the most horrific accident. I had so many injuries. I was in a coma for two weeks lacerated liver 4 broken ribs collapsed lung and a month in the hospital this Accident occurred in 1997. Long long recovery as you can imagine after that. Then I started to notice more and more the pain in my neck and to make this long story short years of going to Doctors complaining of this pain. It was getting worst every year. I did all the other alternative methods and I have always been a heath conscious person, i am also a yoga teacher and have become on because it helped with my recovery. I felt that it helped me in all aspects of my life. So I wanted to give back and started teaching. But i had my own problems that kept getting worst as I said. I am also the type of person that will do things that make me happy, Give me purpose to live. I love the out doors so I go rock climbing repel down the most beautiful waterfalls all over the world. Biking on trails, weight lifting yep I got first place in Ms Physic. So you get them point. All Along needing medications to the pain has been horrible. But this is my life and don’t need to go on anti depression meds. because I can’t do all the things I want to do with my life and my career. I am a doer. now Dr. has ever been able to give me an answer. Dr. Ludema was the last Dr. I went to see. I was upset that after doing all the tests MRI s EMG. His answer was Stop doing the things you do. It’s causing your nerves to be sandwiched in between your thick muscles. UGH what the hell is that supposed to mean? Stop being who I am? REALLY now. or being judged by someone who obviously has no Idea about fitness. Or healthy diet, And so I went on with the alternative treatments. that helped me less and less were no longer as effective. Things were getting progressively. Thank God I was referred very recently to this group of Doctors that I presented the images i had gotten from Dr. Ludema years ago and then they did the same exact tests Again. Only to find out that I was not crazy of wanting medication I Needed surgery I needed this surgery years ago. This group of Doctors know that the fix is not to stop the things that I love to do. And of course not having surgery done years ago made things that much worst, I just a month ago yesterday. Had Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion done. I am writing this review and I have every right to be upset because if you complain to a Dr. that doesn’t do right by you don’t waist your time keep looking don’t give up like I did. for so long. This recovery would have been so much easier and not only that I might have not have to have multiple fusion. And I would have been done with this. Instead I”m not and so i just had to say. That is horrible when a Dr. you want so bad to help you Judges you and has no real or right answers. It sucks. And I told my Doctors and my therapist all about this incident and why this was not done sooner, But now I am surrounded by Great Doctors and I will never need to go through the hell that I’ve gone through again,

I have been seeing Dr. Ludema on and off now for about 4 years for Migraine Induced Vertigo. Recently I started a new job and I had been off my medication for over a year, but because of the older monitor and the office lighting, I needed to return to my medication. I called Dr. Leduma who was kind enough to write me prescription before the office visit. Dr. Ludema is a vast knowledge when it comes to neurology and doesn’t press unnecessary procedures or medications. He gives treatment options, explains procedures and lets the patients make up their own minds. Case in point: There has been an unidentified mass on my brain for the last few years(or longer) and the last few MRIs were inconclusive. Dr. Ludema reminded me of the mass and suggested another MRI to check on the mass, but I have just started working again and I really didn’t have the money or the time for another MRI at present. He didn’t press the matter and moved on to the next subject. If you are looking for an excellent neurologist, I give Dr. Ludema my highest recommendation.
