Dublin 4 has a legit food, a lively atmosphere, a local pub feel and also a friendly, welcoming staff. Stopped in for a late Sunday lunch. We ordered the lamb burger and the Reuben. Very good!!! There’s also a good variety of craft beers to choose from on tap. We will be back!

Tucked away in a small center just off of the 5 freeway, I have drove past it so many times unaware of the awesomeness of Dublin 4 Gastropub. I was looking for a new spot to try on a Sunday evening and Unilocal led me to this quaint spot. You can make a reservation but they do take walk ins as well. Upon entering there is a bar on the left fully stocked but you must have a perfect pour of Guinness, they also have a nice selection of wines and other Irish beers and ciders. I tried an Irish Cider as well and it was really good. I ordered the cottage pie and my husband had the braised short ribs. The cottage pie was piping hot and oh so good for that cool evening. We also shared the Irish white cheddar macaroni and cheese, this was an amazing dish and if you like Irish cheddar too it will make you weak in the knees. The ambiance is just one of the reasons you will find to return to this place. It is so welcoming and relaxing. If you make a reservation ask for the snug sitting area. Service was impeccable and the owner behind the bar was super friendly.

Heard this place is amazing and I’ve had it bookmarked forever, glad I finally tried it. The place is small & cozy which makes it more intimate but also means you should probably make a reservation. I loved the interior of this place, lots of attention to detail. It has a very classy old school meets new school vibe, posh but not stuffy. The menu here of course had traditional Irish dishes but with a very modern flare. A lot of good hearty comfort food but done fancy;) We started with the farmer green salad. Portion size was perfect for two to share. The greens were dressed in a light citrus vinaigrette with fried goat cheese & citrus segments on the side, it was delicious. For entrees we had the lobster pot pie & the short rib. The lobster pot pie had a very flakey buttery crust, a creamy brandy sauce, lots of vegetables & chunks of lobster. It was superb. The short rib was very tender & served with roasted carrots & parsnips. Of course no meal here would be complete without one of their signature Irish coffees served with fresh cream & worth every penny. This place is a must try but make sure to make a reservation.

I can’t say I’ve ever noticed this little center before. Limited parking in front, and a few more spaces in the tight parking lot in back. The pub was smaller than expected, but liked the vibe, from the moment we walked in: the dark wood; the comfortable, padded counter-height chairs; the long, red banquette sofa in back; the chandeliers; the cozy, semi-private room behind the bar; the distinguished bar top; and the warm-and-welcoming staff. We were warmly greeted immediately upon entering. The generous planks of Fish & Chips($ 20) — with a delightfully flavorful seasoned batter, breaking into thick flakes– were attractively presented on a thick, wood cutting board, served with tasty-and-hot French Fries, and a nice side to pair with the fried entrée,(new-to-me) Crushed Peas! The Prime Hanger Steak($ 28) was fabulously tender and delicious! Nice staff and service. We look forward to returning to this wonderful find!

So this is a true five star place. Food, atmosphere, drinks, staff… it was all five star. Food Corned beef cabbage egg rolls were awesome. Perfect combination of corned beef and cabbage. Order mustard on the side. Beet salad was incredible. Beets were so sweet and perfect Belen’s of favors. Fish and chips crunchy and moist fish was just delicious. Drinks The bartender is a true craftsman with cocktails. Asked for a bourbon drink that was sweet and was made a bourbon drink that was smoky and sweet and awesome. They also have a very good beer menu and offer bourbon and whiskey tastings. Atmosphere Irish pub with very elegant atmosphere. Suggestion to make reservations if you have a group bigger than 2. Fills up quickly and is SRO after about 6:30 Staff One of the friendliest and most welcoming staffs I have ever experienced. Friendly, helpful and attentive. I will return and you should try this place!
