Build a bear. Build a pony. Build a Marvel bear. Build a Nemo. Build a Dory. Build a dragon! Even better. They have so much to offer boys and girls, and even the kid at heart adults. My favorite that I so wanted to buy is Toothless from How To Train A Dragon! Love him to bits! Next time I stop at a store, I may make that purchase. This store has a lot of good variety. It is a lot smaller than the ones that I have visited, but they definitely do have the more popular items. My friends little niece is into My Little Pony, and this ponies are representing in this store. And Marvel! Who wouldn’t want Marvel on their bears?! Or even Star Wars character outfits for their bears?! Yup, they had it all here. The store did have some«bear» spots of no merchandise and made some spaces look a bit empty. They even only have one bear filling station. You know, that machine that stuffs the plush with fluff. ;) No one really greeted me when I walked into the store. The one gentleman that was assisting with filling up this young lady’s bear with giving her his undivided attention. And I didn’t see any other associates in the store.

We just had my 4-year-old’s birthday party here this past weekend and it was a success! We had some late arrivals and we started ½ hour later than scheduled but the staff members there were VERY understanding. My son is autistic so they were also very accommodating, making sure they didn’t have games that were too loud. Hanna Banana was our party host and she was amazing, full of energy, and so helpful. The store was nice and roomy for our larger party with 10 kids and 13 adults. All the kids in our party had never been to a Build-a-Bear before so they all loved it. I highly recommend this location for parties or even just to shop. The staff members were all very friendly and happy, making us extra happy!

My son was given a teddy when he was born. Five years later and many washes between, teddy has become a little flat. I heard that Build A Bear will re stuff for a small fee. Teddy was not bought at Build A Bear and they went above and beyond to re stuff teddy and even give him a heart at no charge. Awesome and sweet people.

Super nice folks, my daughter had a pony that the seam opened on. The sewed it up and even brushed it’s matted hair — free of charge!

This particular Build-A-Bear has about as much square footage as the others in the area aside from the one located in Disneyland. Fortunately for this one, the parking is free. They have plenty of stock, including My Little Ponies and accepted our coupons, gift cards, and pre-release Fluttershy flyer without any hassle. They made stuffing adjustments to our ponies without complaint(as we prefer to have them more rigid than squishy). Though not a fault of the specific location, all of the buildable plushies there(My Little Ponies included) are quite pricey, ranging from about $ 20+(a large pony is $ 25, and a small pony or Spike is $ 15). These prices are standard throughout the chain, but it sounds very much like one is paying for the licensing(especially the small ponies) and it does make one think twice before buying the plushies there. If one can accumulate more rebates through their frequent flyer program or look around newspapers and online ads for coupons, the price becomes better and does not strain one’s wallet as much, making each individual purchase more enjoyable. Still, expect to spend at least $ 25 before any discounts while there… even more if you have a plushie lover with you.

I went to this Build-a-Bear looking for a bear to build(imagine that) for a pediatric cardiology office. Courtney… simply phenomenal employee, what a wonderful addition to Build-a-Bear. She immediately saw me looking around and approached me asking if she could help. Well she could, and she did! She helped me choose one of the top loved bears and even helped me dress him in scrubs and buy some little accessories. She seems like such a warm hearted person and I might have walked out of that store with nothing if it hadn’t been for her. I was originally going for the teddy bear with the heart stitched on his chest but unfortunately they didn’t have that one in stock. Courtney convinced me to get this other incredibly soft and cuddly teddy bear that the kids ended up just loving to death! It’s so great because when kids are terrified in a doctors office it helps when you have a little teddy bear to get them through. Courtney was so knowledgable about what the kids liked and even suggested I put in a beating heart for the kids to feel. It really helps when you have somebody that seems so passionate about what they do. I couldn’t help but notice how insanely awesome she was when interacting with the two little boys buying some bears as well. She was so animated and excited you couldn’t help but smile. I wish all employees were like her, I’m telling you a lot more teddy bears would be sold… not to mention spoiled with the accessories on the side!

It was close to the end of the night, My daughters knew exactly what they wanted to get and so we didn’t spend much time in here however even though we had a short visit, the staff seemed highly annoyed and just ready to get us out of the door.

I worked in the Down Town Disney shop ages ago. I still love this place. We have recently gone to a couple birthday parties here which were a blast. My daughter loved it. They have everything you could possibly need for building and taking care of your stuffed animals. The clothing line is super cute too. KEEPITUP!

Omg! Okay, I would celebrate my kids birthday here every year if she would let me. I wasn’t aware of this before, so I’m writing another review for this since after the birthday party. I received loyalty bear bucks, I dunno what they are called but basically gift certificates valid in store. I also received«coupons» for accessories and up to $ 12.00 off of a bear or free if you choose that bear. We ended up with a bed, a hello kitty doll and hello kitty pajamas for my kid for only $ 11.00 after all the bear bucks and coupons. What a steal?! I also have a coupon for a free outfit w/a purchase of another doll which expires in a month. Maybe my kid will be lucky enough to get another stuffed animal. After spending so much for the party, it was nice to get all the incentives after.

Messed up with your girl? Can’t think of anything to get her? Does she have an unexplainable obsession with bears? This is the place to go! With a wide range of bears from all walks of life, you can dress him/her in a myriad of outfits and accessories. From football jerseys to army uniforms. Any unrealistic career a bear could have, they have it here! Sick of bears? Well they also have his friends: frog, monkey, dogs, etc. After finishing, you can name him/her… Some suggestions: Beary Seinfeld, Beario, Bearzgoda, Justin Bearber, etc.
