It was a pleasure meeting Clara! She met me at the door. The space she was a part of was unique to San Diego and wonderful. I have seen many of these collaborative salon and beauty spas in Texas so it was a joy to see them here. It’s like a one stop for show stopping beauty. Get a massage, nails, hair, face done after coming from the gym next door and then end the day with coffee from the bar up front. So awesome!
I was glad to have found Clara and meet her. She is gentle and kind. Very engaging and passionate. To her this isn’t just another job and it totally shows. She gets to do what she loves every single day. And damn does her skin look good too! Smooth, natural and beautiful. I bought a groupon for a microderm and a peel. I knew before coming in that my skin isn’t as thick or ‘aged’ enough for both the microderm and peel but after traveling, stress from the daily grind, work, picking up smoking again and sleeping late if at all I just wanted to get rid of that grim and start fresh.
She explained what I had already known which is a good sign that she isn’t just in it for the $ or clientele. She asked me if I would like to continue or do something else and asked me questions about my past facial and peel experience so she can assess my available options. She offered other options which I appreciated but I had her go ahead with the microderm and peel. She abides by ‘If you don’t need it, don’t do it — be natural and embrace it’ and she won’t sell you on things you don’t need and will work with you to get you what you want. So sweet! Love it! I guess you can say she lives up to her business name — Simply. Pure. Esthetics.
She was gentle but firm, taking care not to stretch or put too much pressure on my skin. She made the pumpkin peel mild which was the lightest of the 3 other peel options available to suit my skin and offered to remove a milia I had that bugs the crap out of me at no extra cost. It’s gone now! YAY! Finally after 6 years.
All the while, we got to know each other and her background is just amazing. Prior to being an ethetician, she was in the healthcare business. She is about caring for others making sure that they are comfortable, happy and healthy! I love her. I am coming back and I am coming back for the full salon experience too.

I’ve been seeing Clara once a month for abt 7 months now and I can’t say enough abt what she has done for the smoothness and clarity of my skin. I have has small calcium deposits on my face my entire life and in 3 treatments they are finally gone. This is just one example of the difference she has made for my skin I wear less make up and feel more beautiful with fresh clear skin. Her prices are affordable, her professionalism and sanitation are excellent (believe me I’ve been to my share of spa’s) and the kindness of her character keep me coming back! I give her 5 stars because the quality of her work is worth 6 or more. If your serious abt the health of your skin get on a regimen and book your appt!

Clara was kind, warm and great at what she does!!! I had a micro, peel and mini facial. I will be back for sure. They also have great discounts for repeat customers and monthly deals!!! Best prices around and she uses high quality products. Thanks!!!
Kind of in a funky place, inside a HUGE salon… its under construction right now but it has amazing potential! Just opened a complimentary coffee bar too :)

I bought a groupon to this business at the end of December. I thought I would get a facial for the new year. When I called to book my appointment, I was told the soonest available was three weeks away. Beware before you buy a groupon! You may have to wait a couple months before you will be able to use it.

Got my first facial with Clara and I am so glad I did! Admittedly, I was frustrated in the beginning because I needed to change the appointment time that I made and it was impossible to get in contact with her after making the initial appointment. However, she called back on the day and took me in 15 minutes earlier than planned. The facial was incredible. I’ve had facials before where they try to skip portions of it to expedite the process and get back to lunch, but Clara took her time and did it right. Very soothing and I woke up today glowing! She is running a one person show so making an appointment if your schedule is tight is a little difficult but she is very accommodating and she is totally worth it. I even got a little $ 20 gift card to use on another treatment if I come in again, which I will. Go to Clara, you will not regret it!

I went to see Clara maybe a month ago for a microdermabrasion treatment and shd is wonderful and so is my face. Shes really nice and creates a very inviting atmosphere.

Clara is wonderful! I got an eye brow and eye lash tint and they came out wonderfully. Friendly staff, relaxing environment, great deal. Recommended!

I love Clara! She is one of the best Esthetician’s I have ever had a facial from. I go for skin maintenance as well as pleasure and I know my face is in very good hands. Love the salon where she is located too!

I saw Clara for the first time yesterday. That was by far the best facial I’ve ever had. She had great tips for me on how to care for my skin. I’ve already booked my next appointment and will be sure to refer as many people as I can. It’s really hard to find a great esthetician and now that I’ve seen Clara I won’t switch! She’s the best!

Clara is great — she has a comfortable private room in a gorgeous salon. Everything about the place was comforting and soothing, and her prices are affordable.

Clara is great at what she does. She always makes me feel so comfortable when I go to get my Brazilian wax done. I appreciate that she uses the best wax and is gentle and thorough while also being fast. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends/​family.

You gotta try Clara for brazilian waxing. I’ve been going with her for the past four months and she is just the best. Clara is fast, very clean, and knows what she’s doing. I’ve tried many other estheticians but none of them have done such a great job like Clara. I’ve recommended her to many friends and they ALL come back to her every time. Good pricing and good quality waxing products.

I have the most difficult brows to wax, but once Clara arched them they have never looked better. She seriously has the touch of an angel. i’ll never go to anyone else.
