Great service. Big group of us came in to celebrate a birthday. Speedy delivery of appetizers and entrees. Great for sandwiches and salads. Big menu.

Scotty’s is absolutely delish. Only downfall is the menu is so large it makes it hard to decide what to order.

So good! I had their Schwarber Burger with waffle fries and dill chips. All were amazing! Would recommend over Evil Czech any day.

Disappointed tonight to learn that Scotty’s doesn’t get WGN Cubs games. I’ve enjoyed your food and service in the past but this is hard to believe. You even have the Schwarber Burger as a special on the menu tonight. Comon’ man!

Just had scottys for the first time tonight. FIRSTANDLASTATTHAT. The service was awful, it was a bare Sunday late in the evening. Maybe three other couples in the dinning room. Our waitress came to the table maybe twice, had to ask a different server for refills, condiments, forks and the bill. Was never checked in on to see how the food was, which was totally messed up. Brought out a tenderloin instead of a chicken sandwich, as well as cooking my «medium well» burger rare. The manager asked how the food was at the end of the meal, explained why it was not good, he grabbed the plates and went to the kitchen. Never came back or acknowledged our concerns. If I’m going somewhere and spending more than $ 50 dollars I expect service at least better than Buffalo Wild Wings or another sports bar. Will never go back unless they were to do a complete 180.

YUM! This is like munchie heaven. Seriously. Tater tot nachos??? Yes please! I have yet to try something I don’t like… their black bean burger is good, their nachos are good, Cesar wrap, mac-n-cheese, the list goes on and on. This is our family stop on Sundays whenever we have time. Both of the meat eaters in my family LOVE and highly recommend the Piggy Mac sandwich. I cannot wait for our next visit.

Tried this place again 2 weeks ago. This time the service was so bad we left. Had to wait over 5 minutes ATTHEBAR to be seated and get a menu. We were handed a beer menu. Since the barkeep was able to talk to the other 3 or 4 waitstaff that were milling about, but not give us a food menu, the woman got mad. She walked up to these two managerial looking bozos near the kitchen and asked them if they were management. Went the one guy said that yes, in fact he was the manager, she tore into him like a banshee on a bad day. She told him that he must not be a very good trainer, as noone there seemed to care about service or customers, man, she lit into this guy, stomped back to the bar where I was sitting, grabbed her purse and told me «let’s get outta this dump!». I left, feeling sorry for the man, but really, this was the 2nd and last time.

My husband and I tried Scotty’s for the first time tonight. The atmosphere was to be expected for a «sports bar» but there was seating away from the bar where you got more of a dining feel. As soon as we sat down I was so turned off at the napkins! I know that sounds ridiculous but it just creeped me out. They remind me of those infomercial towels for cars. I mean they clean and not stained but no thanks! To start we ordered the pretzel sticks and they were very good! My husband ordered a burger with tots and I got the tenderloin with waffle fries… amazing! Our waitress was Teresa she was so kind and on top of everything! We were sat at one of those tiny«for 2» tables you know the kind… Don’t move, eat, raise your arm or order any thing and you’ll have plenty of room. Such a waste of space but anyhow we enjoyed the food and everything came out super fast and we didn’t feel rushed or anything. Nothing happened that makes me want to hurry back though. Our bill came to $ 32 before tip which I thought was fair. So I guess I would say good food, good prices nothing to write home about but not a bad place. Just bad napkins lol

I have been back to Scotty’s 3 times since I wrote my original review. It took quite a bit of time to get back there due to trying other venues. Scotty’s management was very responsive to my last review and were quite gracious to me. I didn’t want to write an update until I went back a few times so that I could get a feel for the consistency of their improvement. I’ve had a couple variations of the«kitchen sink» appetizer with a group of friends and found it to be pretty good. I’ve also had their wings with bbq sauce. I think they compete very well with other wings available in the market. The service is slightly above average with some minor hiccups. It’s a good gathering place for pre or post game get togethers. I will definitely put Scotty’s in my rotation. The next test will be when I order a bacon cheeseburger ;)

The waiter was great! They had trouble making a mojito, I wonder if they use a good rum as my rum and Coke was also below average. The meal was ok, we had pork tacos and spicy steak sandwich.

V.I.P. members. We visit fairly frequently. And always use the locally grown beef. Large variety of craft beers including harder to find out of area.

The food isn’t bad, and there’s a decent selection of options. But the beer is never, and I mean never cold. It’s almost like the manager is such a cheapskate that they turn the coolers up 5 degrees to save a buck or two. There are plenty of options around that know the importance of cold beer. We won’t be back.

Had a great meal. Highly recommend the local grass fed hamburgers. Thrilled that they have gluten free options! I would make sure they keep that straight. We ordered our sons with a gf bun and they served his with a regular bun. But I caught the mistake and they quickly remedied the problem.

Food was great this evening. I had the the bacon bomb burger. This was excellent. Although the bacon would have added more flavor, had it not been breaded and deep fried. Macaroni and cheese is like crack. Out of this world. It’s what all of the other restraunts should strive for.

I have a serious soft spot for Scotty’s. I started going here back when I was a spring chicken several years ago in Bloomington. The loaded waffle fries will forever remind me of a time when student loans were just free cash you never had to worry about again. I digress, we were in town visiting family and decided to check this one out. Lots of the same stuff on the menu but also a huge selection which was awesome. I got a burger and aforementioned fries. The burger was ordered medium but came out closer to well done. Everyone else seemed pretty pleased except my Mom who wasn’t thrilled about being interrupted so many times to ask if everything was OK. Overall, solid food, good service — I’d def. come back.

Came here last week and was happy at how they handled our large group, which included young kids. From the fried pickle appetizer to the peanut butter pie dessert I was happy with the food and the service. They did get my burger order wrong(I had a build your own burger and the waiter, for some reason, didn’t write down all of my choices) but I suppose the waffle fries almost made up for it. Good beer too, and lots of sports games on.

I discovered Scotty’s Brewhouse in college and I have loved their food ever since. I was in South Bend/Mishawaka over the weekend so I thought I would stop in and see a new location. I ordered the dill chips as an appetizer. They are not as good as they used to be but still pretty good. The horseradish dipping sauce is a must have with the dill chips! The Dan’s Darn Good Chicken Wrap is always the entrée I order but I switched it up this time. I ordered the BBQ chicken wrap – great choice! Our server did a fantastic job! I was there with others and we arrived at different times. Our server introduced himself every time and brought the drinks promptly. The manager came to our table after the meal and asked how everything was. Overall – great tasting food, large selection if beer, and friendly service! The Muncie location will always be my favorite but I will probably stop in at the Mishawaka location again!

Bartenders are great and the beer selection is about what you’d expect from a restaurant these days: nothing mind blowing but choices slightly higher than«the lights.» However, I ordered the Shewman Special burger and clarified«medium» doneness with the bartender(Samantha). The burger came out so well done that it was completely dry. It was late and I was starving so I didn’t want to wait to get a new one, even though they offered to remake it(but nobody came by after the food was out to check if it was OK until 10 mins later…) If your kitchen can’t make a burger to order then don’t even ask me how I want it cooked. And this isn’t a new restaurant or chain. They have been around for awhile and presumably made 1,000s of burgers. Get your shit together.

Normally I hesitate to give a one-star review. This food was one step above literal garbage. We ordered a chicken wrap, fish and chips and nachos. They are pictured if Unilocal will allow it. I hope they will. The fish is a frozen fillet fried so poorly it is itself an act of punishment to eat even during lent. It is burned. Even if it were not, the batter is more like a fish-stick than a fish fillet fried by even a charitable organization. The wrap has so much mayonnaise it is nauseating. The tortilla is SOPPING. With MAYO. The nachos are like someone dumped a bucket of the lowest quality cheese — think 1990s Wal-Mart cafeteria or 7 – 11 gas station — and tossed a bag of chips into it. It’s like a trash can in which I realize I paid money for the cheese to ruin all other ingredients. For shame, restaurant that cannot make nachos. For shame. Or fry fish. For shame. This was a trash can into which I foolishly poured $ 50+. I won’t make this mistake again.
