It’s good, mmkay? If you don’t like it, then that’s YOUR fault.

Easily the best bakery I have ever been to. Had a wrap and soup from the deli that were great but the kicker was the crunch donut. It was heavenly! The place was super clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you are in the area it’s definitely worth a stop!

I can’t stop thinking about this place. We went Sunday and for the past 3 days I have had a constant internal struggle to abandon work to visit. The King Sub was easily the best sandwich I’ve had in South Bend, but the donuts. THEDONUTS! They dance through my dreams, taunting me with their tasty goodness! Anyways, going to go in tomorrow to get donuts for my colleagues so they understand why I won’t shut up about their food.

What is not to love about this bakery/deli…I always end up buying more than I originally intended because everything is beyond delicious. they are occasionally at my building in downtown Chicago and I raved about their products to my family so much, that we decided to make the 2 hr trek to Mishawaka, IN. from Chicago. and we were not disappointed… everyone that works at the store was very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had… Try their coffee… the first one is free and you will get hooked… We loved their donuts and probably ate more than we should’ve… but oh well… some things are worth eating more than just one.

My first time here and I ordered the Rise n Roll King it’s amazing! I love how everything here is fresh and the staff is very friendly. They even have a little shop where you can buy jellies, syrups, pies, doughnuts and different canned goods. This place is awesome. I will defenitely be back again.

This place is AMAZING! If you love a good donut, like myself, do yourself a favor and pay this place a visit. They always have a great selection of fresh and tasty goodies to choose from. And to top it off, you even get FREECOFFEE! What more could you ask for…

A one man unanimous decision. Had lunch here today and it was truly fantabulous. If you have not tried it, then try it. I had the Rise & Roll King Sub and enjoyed every bit of it and would definitely do it all over again. Every bite was a celebration.

Awesome Amish style bakery with fresh baked goods, unique sodas, awesome donuts and a deli that serves up some excellent biscuits and gravy. The hot dogs for lunch are pretty good too. I am not sure of the brand hot dog but I definitely recommend them. They carry all the standard Amish fare you would find in Lancaster, PA except in Mishawaka, Indiana including Lebanon Bologna(named after Lebanon, Pennsylvania). I felt like I was at home coming in here for food. You can’t leave without trying the cinnamon glazed donuts. Those are awesome!

Amazingly good. And amazingly bad for you. Probably the best doughnuts I’ve ever had. They taste so rich and full. Like you can tell they use real ingredients. And they go overboard pumping everything in 110%. Don’t have too many of these ;p.

This place is the devil. LOL! This place is amazing. I love all of the fresh baked goods, pickles, jams and jellies. And let’s not forget the«Amish Crack». Oh these donoughts are to good to be true. Oh, but they are! My first trip to the store and I tried the«Sweet Flame»(or Sweet Heat) pickles and they were wonderful. This place will now forever be on my list of places to visit on my trips to the area.

This is my inaugural Unilocal review and I’m going to keep it short and sweet. If Rise n’ Roll established a store in my hometown of Manhattan, there would be a line just as long as those for Dominique Ansel’s cronuts. The Cinnamon Caramel donuts aka Amish Crack are to die for. Literally.

Best. Donut. Ever. Run. Don’t walk and don’t be late. Krispy what? Dunkin… I’m sorry who? You have to get their cinnamon caramel donut aka Amish Crack. When you do you will have lived. Enjoy!

Rise ‘N Roll, I have been a customer for YEARS at their Shipshewana location, and purchasing donuts and cookies at nearby Hardings Friendly Markets, HOWEVER! They have changed! Apparently since this store opened, they no longer provide products to MIddlebury and Bristol Hardings! Probably other locations as well! The grocery guy at Hardings in Bristol, IN said they don’t cater since they have the new«franchise» in Mishawaka! Another change I have noticed is that the donuts they sell(at least in Mishawaka) are SMALLER than they used to be. They used to be a massive hexagon or octagon shape, now they are circles and you can tell they are at LEAST25% SMALLER than they used to be. However incredibly DELICIOUS, I can’t stand bakeries that do this! Shrink the donut and keep the price… :( I haven’t had the cookies so I can’t comment on them, but the donuts are still AMAZING, but smaller :( Therefore only 3 instead of 5 stars!

I love love love Rise n Roll! This franchise is just as good as the original! Their doughnuts are to die for and their cinnamon rolls are sublime. Also, I had a sandwich at the deli and although it was on the small side, it was really yummy. The bread had been toasted and was nice and warm. I will definitely be back when I’m in town! Side note, after having a baby, my mother in law and I came here and got 6 doughnuts and 4 cinnamon rolls if that tells you how much I love this place!

4 stars? I don’t think so. Rise N Roll pours love into their food and you can taste it. The Cinnamon Caramel donut holes are to die for. I work for a company based in Merrillville and they ask me to bring Amish crack whenever I come to corporate. This is a must try for the flakiest donut that you will ever have. If it is your first visit, try cinnamon caramel but after that, branch our! You can do no wrong. Beyond donuts, their sausage roll and cheeses are heavenly. Make up French toast out of the sausage roll and serve with syrup. Yum. Can anyone say heart attack? #worthit I am so glad to have a Rise N Roll so close to home and not have to drive so far to get these yummies. Yes, this store had some inventory and service issues but they are new. They are also slowly getting the hang of it. You have to give Rise N Roll a try!

There is a lot of hype about this business. Being a huge fan of homemade goods from Rentown, I knew I had to try this new location right in the heart of Michiana :) I was pleasantly surprised to see that more than just doughnuts live inside Rise’ n Roll Bakery. My daughters and I had a really fun time looking through all the goodies. It was almost like a «general store» type feel where you can purchase jelly, pie fillings, frozen pizza, and soup mixes. Before we had the chance to look through the shop, we ordered breakfast from the deli, and then obviously purchased a few doughnuts. At the deli I ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy had the perfect amount of black pepper in it and the thickness was just right. The biscuits were a little doughy for my liking but the gravy made up for it. For my girls I ordered what can best be described as an egg muffin. It was an egg casserole with cheese, bacon, sausage, and some spices. They baked the casserole in a muffin tin which gave it a fun shape for the kids. Downfall– They were a little small in portion size for the steep price of almost 5 dollars a piece. Luckily, we purchased some doughnuts to make up for the room left in our bellies. I’m a chocolate glazed doughnut with sprinkles type girl… and lucky for me they had these right in the front window. We ordered 3. All 3 were devoured. :) The main downfall for me was in the transaction. First understand the layout of the store– There are 2 separate check out points… but really it looks like three. One is directly in front of you as you walk through the doors. This one is attached to the deli side of things. Another one is under a sign that says«doughnuts». The final one is set a little further back behind all of the«general store» stuff that I mentioned earlier. Ok, so after I ordered the breakfast items I asked the cashier if I could buy doughnuts at the deli counter or if I needed to go to the doughnut counter to buy them. She told me I needed to go to the doughnut counter– no big deal. But then I walked over to the doughnut counter, got my doughnuts, and pulled out my money– only to be told that I needed to go back over to the deli counter to purchase them. So I walked back over and asked the same cashier where I should pay and she said«I guess you can pay here» I was very confused! Haha! It’s ok though… once I purchased the doughnuts I got a little punch card that gives you a punch after every 15 dollars I spend. I didn’t get a chance to look at what my end reward is but hey– I’ve got the card started! :) We will be back. Most likely just for doughnuts and other general store goodies. The deli will probably not make my cut for breakfast– but I’d like to try it out for lunch!

The donuts and caramel cinnamon rolls are outstanding. I’m not a huge donut fan-however, these donuts have no noticeable traces or aftertaste of grease — just light mounds of sugar, cinnamon and caramel that melt in your mouth & will likely give you a diabetes inducing sugar rush. I went Saturday around 11AM and they were already sold out of the cinnamon rolls. The dangerous part is the new location is only 15 minutes from the house instead of 45 minutes in Amish country.
