This has become the go-​to weekend breakfast place for me and my husband. It is cozy and often crowded on weekend mornings, but we’ve never waited long for a seat. The prices are good and the food is fabulous. The same woman — the owner, I assume — takes everyone’s order, while other staff offers support (refilling coffee, clearing plates, taking checks, etc.). Everyone is friendly and efficient.
It’s a greasy spoon, but with a homey vibe. Some other things that I appreciate that set it apart are the often changing inspirational quotes on chalkboard walls, kids’ art that is prominently displayed, and at least 50 different hot sauces that customers can help themselves to.

We love it here! Good food, big portions and good prices! It can get really busy on the weekends but besides that it’s great. It is great to have a cute place like this so close to our home.

I love this little place for breakfast. I have been dining here about once a week for a few months. (Ever since a class mate of mine suggested it one morning.) The food is really GREAT and priced very very reasonably. Down for home cooking and great service… give this place a try for breakfast.

Ehhh… Well I’ll start with the positive. The prices are awesome,& the restaurant has a very cozy homey feel. The staff is very nice, but the portions are small. Or at least mine was. I ordered the ultimate omlette & it was tiny!!! I had hash browns on the side and they were soft, not crispy like hash browns are supposed to be. So maybe the other items on the menu have larger portions but that omlette I had was tiny! I probably won’t go back unless I’m with someone that wants to go there.

Friendly, clean, and great food! Stacey, the owner, makes everyone feel like family even if she’s never met you! BBQ sauce she makes is amazing and, in my humble opinion, probably the best in South Bend. Prices are good and I’d highly recommend trying them out.

Very tasty food, friendly atmosphere, local owners… what’s NOT to like? Prices are very resonable too. I’ve had breakfast here twice and both experiences were very good. I’ll return.
