Disgusting customer service!!! Beyond rude employee’s who will just hung up on you if you ask to speak to someone else, I had the unlucky privilege to deal with the New Jersey office and I can not believe the way the treat people, it’s horrible. I ended up going through my insurance because a month went by and I couldn’t get anyone from Hertz to even get on the phone with me.

We simply try to find you exactly what you are looking for and get you on your way as quickly as possible. Tips: making a reservation online for a specific location will make your experience in the office even quicker! If you do not own your own vehicle, purchase the insurance. Hertz offers LDW(loss damage wavier) and LIS(liability insurance). The LDW is only for the Hertz vehicle and the LIS protects you if you are in an at fault accident. Trust me the few extra dollars for the insurance is worth it if you do not have your own. Not only does it protect you from any judgements against you, but it also makes for an even faster claims process! Should you get into an accident complete the incident report at the return counter, it will make your experience with the claims department that much easier!
