Edible Arrangements

My experience ended in a WOW!
Initially called the toll free number the previous night to request an early next day delivery. Was explained by the Edible Arrangements representative, that a delivery time could not be guaranteed, but to call the store in the A.M. in my area directly to see what they can do.
My boyfriends birthday was April 25, 2014 Friday. I had requested an early, no later than lunch delivery, since most likely he planned on leaving work early on a Friday Birthday. Plus, having the fruit arrangement sit in the office all weekend would defeat the birthday surprise. (Not tasty, nor pretty)
When I called the store the next morning I was told a delivery time could not be guaranteed… I disappointingly said I would think about it and will call back should I change my mind. Soon after, I decided to take a chance and called back to place the order.
I must say, I was extremely impressed when I received an unexpectedly early text from my boyfriend thanking me for the AMAZING surprise! (Before lunch)

Unfortunately my boyfriend took a photo of the pretty chocolate dipped drizzled apple slices and strawberries instead of the sprinkled «cupcake» fruit :(

I wish there was less than one star. Order from a differ location, or save your money and dont order at all. Terrible customer service and my order never arrived, yet my money was never refunded. Thieves as far as I’m concerned.

The arrangements are amazing. Staff is friendly. I have ordered in-​store and online. Online was easy and I received a confirmation email shortly after. I only gave 4 stars because both times when I went to pick up my order I had to wait a while because they could not find it. Perhaps they should try a different system so they are easier to find.

Ordered online asking for delivery, I got a phone call to confirm my order followed by a follow-​up order to let me know it was delivered. Why Thank You! Great customer service all around! Wait, I got a coupon to use for next time, *_*!

Being a man I am admittedly a last minute shopper. I have mastered buying gifts and it’s almost an art for me. I’ve always left the recipient of my gifts happy. They’ve never been able to tell I bought their gift the same day it was handed to them.
Ok, enough about me. It’s the day of my mom’s 50^th birthday and I haven’t bought a thing. I start to look for a florist and can’t find any in my neighborhood. It’s a Sunday so the odds are stacked against me finding something perfect. As I’m driving, I notice an Edible Arrangements and decide to pop in. I’m told by the employee that it takes about a day to make your custom arrangement. Bummer. But wait… there was a large cooler behind me and she must have seen my face when she told me that any of the arrangements in there are available.
There were two large identical arrangements that were priced the same inside the cooler. I asked her how fresh they were and she said they had been made an hour ago. The arrangement had pineapples in the shape of flours, strawberries, honeydew melon and cantaloupe. I told her I’d take it and she started to ring me up. As she rang me up she offered a sample of fruit. There was a dessert tray inside the cooler and I grabbed what looked like an apple covered in butterfinger crumbles. Turns out it was a huge strawberry covered in cinnamon. It tasted phenomenal!
The arrangement looked great and the price was less than I’d have paid for a floral arrangement. I still had some errands to run and the lady told me I could leave it in the cooler and come back to pick it up later. Great customer service all around. The arrangement stole the show at the party and my momma probably thinks I put a lot of thought and effort into her gift. Thanks Edible Arrangements!
